except he's wrong, because none of the motifs labelled "will not drop" have ever dropped. The only one that changed recently was Shield of Senchal which was not available in the last 3-4 events for some reason but became part of the drop pool this year, and even then it was formerly labelled "will not likely drop" rather than "will not drop".
I admit I did make a mistake on Kindred's Concord but that was because I wasn't paying attention, and that got fixed early on.
if this is about Militant Ordinator, that one doesn't drop, and no one who claims it does has ever been able to show screenshot proof. the rest are either common racial books, antiquities, crown store motifs, event/holiday motifs, or "unique circumstance" ones like New Moon Priest or Ra Gada (even though neither one is rare or valuable at all).Shortly after the formation of the Ebonheart Pact, a Nord woman was given a tour of the Tribunal Temple. Thank you and that is a great idea.
Multiple motifs were labeled "will not drop" which were demonstrated by other players' posts in this thread that they have dropped. Granted, those motifs have been updated so their status correctly notes they have dropped which calls their original status into question.

Here is yet another "will not drop" motif that is dropping. This is why I have suggested a tag other that is not an absolute like "will not drop" suggests.81. New Moon Priest. will not drop. [has never dropped in any previous anniversary event.]

✭✭I haven't seen New Moon myself, so I am still a bit skeptical.
Especially since the evidence is just that the style is learned, not of it coming out of an anniversary box, and over the years I've seen a LOT of people who get confused about where the items they got came from.
I still don't understand your point though Amottica. As far as we can tell, there are definitely motifs that absolutely, full stop, will not drop. Like the crown store exclusives. Do you have better language to suggest?
As far as New Moon goes, if it is dropping (again, I'm not confident in this) it's not a problem with that language, its a problem with that language not applying to New Moon. And Zulera has been prompt with updating this list. Regularly.2 -

No, New Moon Priest doesn't drop from the boxes. When you read a motif, it becomes available account-wide, so even your new characters will have access to it at the style station. Craftstore addon does this for me. You have to tick some boxes in the addon UI for each toon to start it tracking. Upper right hand corner when on the grid showing all your toons. I love it.

Definitely agree with this. I've personally opened over 2,000 jubilee boxes this Jubilee alone and have seen practically every other confirmed motif drop at some point, but I've neither seen nor heard of New Moon dropping except from this one source.Still waiting for answers about class set aura behavior, and also hoping that one day hair dyeing will be an option. We know it's canon thanks to a book in the Manor of Masques! (House of Reveries: The Troupe)

Is your SS from a new account or a new character? A character would have the motifs that other characters have added to the account. A new account would have nothing including no CP.
It is an important distinction.

same, my sample sizes alone are well over 2000-3000 each year, and that number becomes much higher when I count my guildies and friends, or even just other users who have chimed in with their findings or with things they've noticed are missing.
another easy way to tip off what motifs show up or don't, is to see what style materials show up. For example: Aeonstone Shards (New Moon Priest style items) have also not appeared at all, while Carmine Shieldsilk (the Shield of Senchal style item) has finally appeared after years of not appearing. that's also how I know motifs like Ra Gada and Militant Ordinator don't drop—their style materials have never appeared in the boxes either.Edited by Zulera301 on April 20, 2024 5:37AMShortly after the formation of the Ebonheart Pact, a Nord woman was given a tour of the Tribunal Temple. I don't know what you mean by only a handful. Everything that on the list that says confirmed drops is what dropped. Its a big list and the rate per box wasnt high, especially split over so many motifs. My own drops though cover a majority of what zulera lists as confirmed.2 -

Out of curiosity, how many boxes did you open?
I got at least 60+ different motifs from around 3000 boxes opened2 -

that is a correct list of the ones that dropped and didn't drop. the appearance rates are very low (in contrast, blue furnishing plans were common and purple food/drink recipes were extremely common) but from a sample size of about 2800 from just me, I got at least one of each one noted in green.
furthermore, if a motif's style material drops from this event, so does the motif that uses it.
