Is this ok? Repeat farming.

Today I wanted to get a bunch of gear to deconstruct at once so I can get some materials I needed. So I went to a dungeon that has a few bosses and packs of around 8-10 mobs. I just found a route and kept repeating it. Is this ok to do or can someone report you? Or say I am looking for an item a boss drops. Can sit there and farm him. I don't see why not as long as it's a human playing. I don't feel like getting banned for some stupid reason so I thought I'd ask before going any further with this.

I don't see why it would be reportable to farm. Just have the common courtesy and let others hit the boss too if you have already killed it a zillion times. That said, you cannot farm bosses anymore, however, trash mobs don't have such restrictions.

I can't see why that would be a problem, however if I'm not mistaken ZOS implemented a timer to make boss farming less lucrative (i.e. slows it way down) so you're probably better off just farming mobs to get the materials/items you are looking for.

@Metalpunks. My first impression is you do not seem to understand what a loot-bot is. I don't believe you have anything to worry about so long as you, you know, aint there for hours and hours and hours, and standing in the same damn place all the time, waiting for the same damn boss to respawn and attacking it INSTANTLY as in the millisecond it spawns. Yes, I just explained to you what loot-bots basically are. What I am getting at here is so long as you show you're human tendencies, actually move about, kill all mobs on a route as you say, and have no intention to hinder anyone who may well happen to need said boss creatures for a quest or whatever, I see no issue with it, so long as I stated already, you don't overdo it. Just so you understand there ARE dungeons you can go into with multiple bosses and a stupidly high respawn rate on your average baddy, specifically I would guess, for the farming of gear to deconstruct for mats.

No I understand. It's just that the bots can be super smart. You know like pick through their bags, basically mimic a real player. Although there are some big tells that let us know if its a human or bot. I just wanted to ask incase someone comes by and doesn't know how a bot works and reports me. Mainly because I report bots whenever I see them but I know what to look for even with the really good ones. I got my answer though so thank you for that.
