Even with an event extended "two" days, you don't then plop a fat turd of a maintenance on the last hours of the event, depriving everyone that final advertised "day" of event time.
why not just say the event ends at 5:59am? Because it effectively does with this maintemenace
Or, extend it until 10am Friday. The locked accounts can have a little a Jubilee as a treat.

That would be the ideal situation, and give the locked out folks a chance to get some boxes and event tickets. Plus it wouldn't cost ZOS a thing.
Unfortunately, they have instead chosen to replace the last day with the third patch maintenance of the event. It's a bummer for the folks who calculated their tickets to purchase the final fragments for the confetti mount based upon the stated number of extension days, and who are now denied the mount due to the final three tickets and access to the Impresario being blocked by maintenance.12 -

It's past time for the locked out players to be able to return to the game, but this could have been done differently without displeasing anyone: just extend the event further. I missed the first eight days of the event due to travel plans I'd made years in advance. I was planning on staying up late, counting on one more confetti pack and three more tickets to make the cost of the horse reasonable. Adding six more tickets to the cost? I'm just not sure it's worth it.

I was supposed to get the mount today, the last day of the event. But the servers are down from the exact second of the daily reset, so I can't get the extra jubilee piece I need. I thought there was a two day extension, but, really, it's only one? Had I known that I would have planned things out differently. What the heck is going on here?????????5 -

Yep, my second account was in the same situation. ✭I feel for the devs. I can only imagine how frustrating this account lockout stuff has been to fix.
But by the same token, this event really could do with an extension. It's the 10th Anniversary. Let it breathe a little, extend it to May 4th or something. ✭✭✭This maintenance debacle was last straw for me. My first response was to ask for a refund on Gold Road as I have no desire to go further. Since I'm stuck with a year sub I'm sure Ill play again but the bad taste in my mouth is going to remain for a long time.

I could have been one of them if they had started PTS an hour earlier. Like it's been 9 or 10 days since they can't play. But honestly, they could have done the maintenance sooner so those players could have the last few hours of the event. Or they could have waited to do the maintenance after the event. @ZOS_Kevin @ZOS_GinaBruno
But, scheduling maintenance right on the daily reset when they actually just stole from people the last 4 hours, meaning the entire last day of the event.
And the server shuts down less than a minute after the reset, other times it takes even five minutes before it kicks you out, is really a mockery. I've seen people trying to grab last minute tickets and buy something at the impresario.

Exactly the same here. My wife even asked me whether I thought I should just buy the last ticket yesterday, and I told her I’m sure it’ll be fine, the crown store still listed the event as continuing until 10:00 am.
