I have 24/25. I opened my gold box. No confetti. *SMH* Just when I thought this event couldn't possible get any worse.

Do you have the physical items in your inventory still, or does your tracker say you have 24 out of 25?

Is it possible that you have a single piece on another character or it somehow got placed in the bank?

Just trying to think of reasons you might be at 24/25 and not gotten your last piece in the box. My box had confetti in it today, putting me at 24. I haven't used any of them yet--was waiting until I had all 25 before doing so, so I wouldn't lose track of how many I had.

Also check to see if you "used" one already. When I went to do the thing, I had to "eat" all 25 of them one at a time.

This was confusing, and introduced a degree of jeopardy. Usually when you need x items when you reach it you click on "use" and hey presto get the object. For these you have to "eat" all 25, with no indication that anything is actually happening until you reach 25.

So I just looked at mine, I've done daily crafting every day of this event, and I only have 18/25, which means I will not get the mount by the time the event is done....wth

They built the event so that you have to purchase 5-6 confetti pieces with event tickets, depending on whether you had the time to get a last set of boxes on the last day of the event. So it sounds like you're around where you should be, or close to it, if you haven't purchased any confetti at all.

That's because the mount is awarded for completing the related achievement. The achievement tracks the progress towards 25.

Are you saying that once you have the mount, or have the achievement, or have 25 confettis on your account that you will stop receiving confettis in the gold boxes? What if you have 25 confettis spread across several different characters? During the Jesters festival, if you had the style pages in your inventory, even if they were unused, they were redded out (unavailable for purchase) even if you hadn't yet learned the page. So how does that work with the confettis?

With the extension of the event, I think we should now be able to get a maximum of 22 confetti from the daily golden coffer, so we should need to buy only 3 confetti with tickets instead of 5 confetti as originally expected.

I do no think that this is unique to confetti. The skeletal marionette parts behave in a similar way: you need to consume 10 part to get the memento.

What do you mean? You can easily check the progress X/25 in the achievement section.

I have 18 toons. I'm going to comb through them as I do my writs. I so hope this is the case. I searched with Inventory Insights but none showed. They may not show with this mod.

Thank you for pointing this out. :)

Yes. I have 24/25. I'm going to search all of my characters to see if they have any.

I'm not saying anything about when extra confetti stops dropping. I'm responding to the claim that there is confusion and jeopardy due to there being "no indication that anything is actually happening until you reach 25." There is an indicator, and the confusion and jeopardy are eminently avoidable by consuming the parts promptly and checking the indicator as necessary.

These packs are bound, so leaving them unconsumed has several detriments (they take up space and don't get registered) with no upside (since there isn't anything to be done with them other than consuming them). Consuming them promptly ensures that you are not wasting inventory space and allows you to avoid any confusion about how many you have or still need.

People have had problems with consuming fragments on different characters in the past. Personally, since I'm getting the gold boxes and the confetti on different characters through the course of my game play, I've been putting them all in the bank and plan to consume all 25 at the same time, on a single character. But I wasn't really asking about the mechanics of consumption, but rather the presence or lack thereof of confetti once players have looted/purchased the required 25. Perhaps I asked the wrong person, my apologies.

Can anyone who already has the mount tell me if you are still receiving confetti, or is it missing from the box, like is the case with the OP?

I just gold a gold box from a daily in IC and no confetti. I also noticed the gold box became a purple box in my loot log. I wondered about this so I went to my main and did crafting dailies. This got me a gold box that stayed a gold box and the confetti dropped.

The difference is, the main did the inro cake quest, the other toon did not.

No, there is a bug with the IC daily quests. The NPC shows you the gold box, but gives you the purple one. But no prob: just do another daily quest and you'll receive the gold one. It's just a minor bug.

For the confetti in several toons: pls eat confetti each time you get them. Then you can check how many you've eaten looking at your achievement in Holiday Events. So it is no possible missing confetti on some toon.

Have been dropping fine for me as well.

Not sure why it would matter if it still drops after you have the mount, because they aren't tradeable and are used for nothing else. The mount is account wide of course, so no need for them for other characters.
I get the mount on 2 of my accounts today though, so I'll definitely know tomorrow if I still get one on those ones.

    Yes.

Once you have all 25 they no longer drop from the gold box and the Event Lady will not sell you anymore. You'll get an error message that you already have 25.
