Vampires Change Idea, End to Boring trash Vampire's, time for good ones

Vampires need at least 2 skill trees, one for magic other1 for stamina

vampires should not sacrifice their life for skill they are about sucking life from others

Vampire should have positive and negative stages 1-4, when they are feed they have positive stages and positive stages only make them stronger not weaker meaning higher HP regen not lower (if u think its bit much u can make it so the increase of hp regen works when it gets dark), except they do have fire weakness, this is only negative effect that remains, other effect is all ability's cost reduced not just vampire ability's costs

when ur positive stage4: they have vampiric eyes but it won't cause ppl to fear them cause ppl know that they are not as dangerous/not prone to attack ppl cause they can feed on any blood, ofv it helps with intimation, ppl are not scared off their presence but don't want to F with them so with if their kind asks ppl are more likely to loosen their tongue

when ur hungry u have negative stages 1-5 and that's the opposite, no weakness to fire but at stage 4 ur health regen is zero and ability cost is higher but ur PSY stronger (MEELE DAM) and close to fear beast, ur bale and u have red bags under ur eyes, u move as almost crouching like beast so guards attack u on sight, and stage 5 ur loosing hp rest is same


Vampiric Drain needs to be faster and stronger (if it doesn't have cc it has to be), its currently SH, most skills get thrown out, Mesmerize becomes passive that works in dialogue similarly to mage guilds Persuasive Wil but u can actually give commands and tell person to come with u, also it allows to start dialogue with any1 just for that, the form in ultimate is smaller and u can stay in that form as long as u do damage just like ww, mist form remains (optional)

New skills:
for magic:
Disease Shot: Disease damage and 1morph is to add DOT other1 is area DOT, it spread like wardens Swarm bug skill

Walking bomb: DOT Disease damage, if target dies before DOT ends target explodes doing massive AOE damage

blood knight: its active constant skill like bound armor/aegis use to be and when its on u look like ur in full red plate armor (so after u activate it it stays on unless u deactivate it), u gain psy resistance and spell absorbed (it does decrease spell damage done to the vampire somewhat) like light armor shield skill but no shield, depending on morphe it either replenishes ur magic or stamina and also has that inner light effect While slotted, your Max Magicka is increased by 6% with stamina morphe 6% stamina


also teleportation skill where u turn in to swarm of bats (no ide how to call it), it resembles sorcerer Bolt Escape but instead of lightning effect u will have bat swarm


for stamina:
u use any weapon u have bit different effect but not like NB where u don't even use ur own weapon but summon some dagger for a moment of attack (totally weird with 2h build), so it looks like weapon skills a somewhat, different effect with different weapons and also different with DW
Lethal Cut: its hard hitting weapon swing with critical damage, lower ur HP the higher the critical, it has decant critical normally to

Bloody Swing: u swing similarly to cleave (like half moon), its good damage + bleed

Vampiric Leap: u get large bat wings for a moment when u jump, similar to DK ultimate leap skill, it does damage

Stomp: hits the ground with 1foor and kicks enemy back

no idea for morphes for stamina skills



currently yes vampires have some use cause of passives but mostly boring AF

the thing he talks i no longer care, i wont res cause they made bad change, also not changing sets cause of it, if i don't get in raids cause of that then screw raids (trials), i pick 1gear for one char and stick with it unless i get some plan, i wont live by Zenimaxes whim like most cause they want to be on top on leaders board, this guy quit cause of that but i say F that i will just ignore the mess and do my way

    On one hand, I agree that vampires may need more love in term of how they are balanced rn, but on another hand, your idea with positive and negative stages sound like way too much nuisance to deal with.

    Also, the whole point of weaknesses with higher grades of vampirism, is to prevent curse from being treated as obligatory, and up to player to decide, if the benefits are worth it for the drawbacks.

    maybe, depends how often u need to feed, its kind of like hunger in survival games

    its good for ppl who want to RP

    only weakness that makes sense is weakness to fire, hp regen should be higher and skill cost should go down the higher the stages, according to vamp lore that makes sense, if weakness to fire isn't enough then add sun damage to force ppl play on cloudy days and at night, but the current effects stages have make zero sense, better feed vamp should be stronger not weaker that incudes hp regen and skill cost

    I mean honestly, I think vampirism is mostly fine as it is now unless we can get multiple strains of vampirism (and lycanthropy! All the curses!). ZOS needs to reverse the nerf to frenzy (and maybe buff the spammable) because now it is just too easy to be healed as a vampire when the vampire spammable works best with low health. Low health vampire makes for a fun yet dangerous build, and ofc it doesn’t work in group content because of the lack of healing but if the low-health playstyle was removed then vampirism would just be like a guild skill line, not a playstyle.

    Nightblades already do the stealing health to sustain their own life. Just make a vampire nightblade, that’s what mine is and its a pretty fun way to do vampirism. IMO the low health simulates the feral hunger of a vampire, they can never be satiated yet must kill and kill and kill. Like how werewolves have to keep killing and eating to retain their form.

    You say Vampires are trash and yet

    - They have the strongest ultimate in the game, nothing compares to Swarming Scion, not even Ravenous Goliath
    - They are the ones being blamed for the tank meta in PVP

    Vampires need tweaking

    - Perfect Scion should allow you to enter stage 5 for a brief time whenever you feed in your normal form when you are already at stage 4 to serve as a more alluring option when compared with Swarming Scion.

    - Vampires should have faster health regeneration at higher stages 150/300/400/600 but it should come at the cost of outside healing received at a rate of 3%/6%/9/12% as opposed to being stopped at higher levels.

    - Vampiric Drain heals for more health the less health you have so naturally should deal more damage the lower your health, it heals for about 25% of your max based on missing health so something like 250% more damage the lower your health is.

    - Change Undeath to do the following, when you take damage when at full-health you have 15% damage reduction.

    - Unnatural Movement is kind of overpowered, what I would do is make Elusive Mist render your invisible for 3 seconds after the initial teleport, Unnatural Movement should be swapped to stage 2 and instead make the Vampire move at maximum speed when sprinting to simulate having supernatural speed.

    - Blood Frenzy should become the new stage 4 passive but without the health penalties, when you kill an enemy gain a stack of Blood Frenzy for 10 seconds increasing your weapon/spell power by 60 stacking up to 5 times.

    - The Blood Frenzy skill should be replaced with a Bat related AoE skill.

    i didn't say trash but boring, only good things are some passives

    ok, not bad idea, but:

    mesmerize should be passive to like i explained, npc that u cant talk to it activates automatically when u try to interact, with others u have the option in dialogue, about HP regen u could also add sun damage, higher stages higher regen but sun damage, so they negate each other leaving ur normal regen active but at night ur regen is better

    and all skill costs should go down to not up


    considering the penalties stage 4 should be 2k-4k magica bonus or 20% - 40% extra spell damage

    Vampire (or Werewolf) is Not supposed to be a Class in and of itself. It is supposed to be an Augment that has some usefulness and it can augment Any Class in the game. The Classes Of the Game are supposed to be the Primary skills the player uses.

    Vampire should have less Offensive skills and more Flavor skills. And they should get rid of the silly 'various levels' of being a vampire. A character either IS a vampire or they are Not a vampire. They should have access to All the passives regardless of how often they have fed. Additionally, feeding is supposed to sate their hunger. It is Not supposed to affect what they look like.

    Vampires and Werewolves come with their own powers/abilities even offensive ones, and its common that they become bit beast like when they are hungry, if it were movie series they would (even if it would be elder scrolls series) automatically hunt any1 on sight if they starve 2long, and its common that deep hunger fill slightly alter ones appearance, its just rarely shown in games movies and series

    I would love for them to completely rework the drain ability. Does anyone use it ? I don’t get why someone would want to be stuck in that animation - it’s just RP

    Vampires, and Werewolves, are intrinsically *monsters*. Being one should always have drawbacks. The greater the bonuses in one direction, the greater the drawbacks in another, at the same time. Want less drawback? Accept less bonus. Actually using the full powers should be a viable but very niche thing, for specialised builds and for short times, not a perma thing.

    The Unfathomable Darkness set has a fun 5 piece proc of a bunch of black birds that fly around and cause damage. That could be tweaked a bit into bats (or torchbugs for wardens) for some fun travel ability + damage or some kind of thematic aura.

    Flame damage is bad, giving dk a lot of advantage by doing nothing. Its weakness should be limited to fighters guild, and change or remove undeath together.

    It is nowhere near a good ultimate in the first place and it looks like a cheap barbie doll goliath reskin. We deserve a proper VL ultimate not some low effort mimicry, which is what everyone wanted AND expected when greymoor was announced.

    Perfect Scion is a good ultimate, it only looks bad when compared to Swarming Scion due to the damage potential of the latter but need I remind you that even the base ultimate still gives you 10,000 to each stat which also increases your attack power, it heals you to full-health and causes all attacks to heal you for 15% of the damage caused, Perfect Scion inherits all them effects in addition to removing the vampire weaknesses and allowing you to use all stage based passives regardless of your actual vampirism stage.

    Making it so simply having it slotted would add the ability to temporarily remove all weaknesses in your normal form would be a great addition to it, it would be a more passive option for the ultimate.

    i think he means more like skyrim and eso werewolf where u can basically stay in that form as long as u can

    and this would be nice

    i mentioned similar skill, ofc it was in my new skill tree idea among many new skills
