I give up ZOS - you win

I’ve spend 5 days at the dolmens, fishing, geysers and world bosses. Real world time - 40 hours

Nothing - not a sausage

So congratulations, for your 10th birthday you made me hate this games RNG

I’m going back to content I actually enjoy because frankly, what is happening here not just to myself, and others, is an absolute travesty

It is absurd that some people have done over 500 (yes, five hundred) dolmens or geysers and no pages dropped for them. 40 hours are a damn long time to spend not having fun on a game that's supposed, by definition, to be fun. I do fear this awful grind might be a sign of things to come. Hopefully not.

Wait, there were sausages? I didn't get any sausages either. What the hell, ZOS??

Too bad there's not a system like .1% increased chance per Wb,dolmen,etc,or something to accumulate for better chances at that specific drop.Or maybe do x dolmens for a 10% better chance to drop a page.I got all of em,got first one day one,2nd one day 3 or 4,3rd and 4th took another 2 days,and took almost 5 days to get last one oly after swapping chars,and that char got it 4th boss on it.

It really is beyond frustrating how low these drop rates are... especially for something we should be celebrating.

PLEASE increase the drop rates on these style pages. This is really taking away from the happy celebration the 10th anniversary should be.

That would be something but spending days upon days for one drop is just brutal. And that is what this has been.

And too bad that the items are not available with tickets (or even tradable) like they have usually done in the past.

The RNG is awful, it feels like something is broke. Many people have gotten drops quickly, while others have done 300+ dolmens/etc and got nothing. I thought they would tweak the drop rate after experiencing the first weekend, but it seems unlikely at this point. Frustration will only get worse as the final week comes to a close and people aren't able to collect the limited time items. This must be the first event ever, where it is impossible for some people to get the event collectables, no matter how much they play.

I am glad to read these accounts. I have been feeling I was missing out not doing any of these grinds.

Full disclosure I got the Trueflame thing after 10 mins but was fishing to fill out Hew' Bane acheevs.

I would have trade it easily for the last salt water fish I need.

The Grind, its an old worn out formula that I don't partake in and ZOS has mastered it remarkably well.

Let ZOS make parts of those motifs - 10 parts, each part costing 10 event tickets. And let it be accessible throughout all year during every event.

There, problem solved.

At least you will know this grind has an end.

Oh, btw, I still haven't found the Ul'vor Staff, and I might have done about 200 geysers. If I get it, good. If not - ah well.

imho, the problem is not the drop rate (which is quite low, to be honest) but the time-limit+character bound

not everyone can spend the entire day on farming (i'm missing 2 pages and i'm close to 400 WB for barbas helm)

Didn't count them but I'm atleast at 800+ geysers(~11 hours) I think. No luck yet! Did get the first four anniversary styles within 6 hours total though. Maybe that is where all my luck went, hehe.

I want the grind done, so I can go back to what I love about this game: Completing zones, IA, etc.

PS: I don't like the stress farming at geysers/dolmens, having to run from here to there and engage in mobs constantly... fishing/wb camping is fine, as that is relaxing and farming at the same time. Stressfarming is a big no from me!

Edit: Found the last style(geysers) after another 50 mins of geysers! Yay!

Genuinely one of the most aggrevating grinds thus far. I've done roughly 350 dolmens without the drop. Haven't even tried the others and I am losing my santiy fr, I'm well aware I could give up but they really did well with the "well maybe it'll be this one." As something that's supposed to be a 10 yr treat for us it feels a bit more like a slap in the face. If I don't get this staff soon I might scream fr

To be fair no one is making you to grind for these style pages.

I hate doing silly event quest like throwing mudballs and such so I dont do them even if they drop a style page, its Style pages, not game changing uber uniques items
