Yet another disappointment :/

Another PTS patch note has been released and as usual the Templar has gotten a "useless" buff. Besides the fact that we already have 3 skills that snare/immobilize/stun our enemies by 40%, we now get a new "buff" that immobilizes them for sure. I'm not going to lie, I've given up hope that the Templar will ever get a "big buff" in the future, given the fact that the spammable does no damage thanks to Major and Minor Evasion and the Light Attack Weaving gets stuck in animation for a few seconds in the middle of combat. And yet we still get no fixes for it, while Nightblades, Dragon Knights, Wardens and Arcanists are buffed with every patch. Nice to see how "balanced" the game is now... Yes, PvE-wise Templars are one of the best dps, but considering this game is supposed to be an MMO with lots of PvP, it feels like a big joke now. Seriously, when are we going to get the buffs we need?

    In the scribing system the Templar exclusive buff you can equip on a skill (even a spamable one) literally gives 33k armour on demand (and 59% snare...but snowtreaders, swift, generic speed boosts counter it)

    So id say that's a buff of some sort, even if it seems zos is going all in with tankplar (in which case they should fix sunshield) while forgetting g that stamplars is sitting here with all 0% potency

    they should just balance pvp and pve seperately like final fantasy 14. trying to balance both at the same time has never worked lol. they either end up making pvp mains sad or pve mains furious with the changes they do.

    Thats always been a suggestion at the top of my list, but i've never seen anyone justify why it wouldn't be better than the systems that don't do it and just limp along with guaranteed imbalance between the two modes.
    PvE and PvP are two entirely different animals, and ought be treated as such.
    The problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.

    doesn't matter if it's PvP or PvE ... light attack weaving on the jabs isn't working properly ... you're stuck in the animation for like forever unless you barswap
