The Trueflame is the easiest by far. It's laughable that they thought updating that to "small chance" while leaving the teeny tiny drop rate of other items at "small chance" was a good idea.

Anything that takes more than 25 hours is not a "small chance" (worm staff), and I haven't even gotten it yet. I doubt I will since I've burned out on the grind and have stopped.

To me, it just looks like they made the descriptions more consistent in their wording, which doesn't necessarily imply that the drop rates have been changed. The wording in the original announcement was inconsistent, and in the case of the Trueflame page the wording was arguably inaccurate as far as what it implied about the drop rate in light of how much easier it was to get that particular drop in comparison to the others.

Based on that assessment, it would appear that they made the Trueflame Sword easier to get, while making the other 4 pages harder to get...

I sure hope not. They were already extremely low.

I think some people got the Trueflame sword quickly and thought if that was extremely rare then the merely small chance shouldn't take that long. Expectations were set that simply were not reflected in reality.

I think to reflect what most people see if Trueflame is a small chance then the others should be marked extremely rare.

But I think it odd that they bothered to change the text halfway through the event. I don't think they changed the drop rate BTW.

Well I certainly think they should. Farming days on end for pages that are only available for a very short time and still not getting them is not my idea of a celebration.

This is a 10 year anniversary and the rewards should reflect that. I hope they seriously consider greatly increasing the drop rate of these pages and offer some crates or other compensation for the extremely stressful grind the players have been experiencing.

Right, so now the text is marginally less misleading. That doesn't make the suffering of someone grinding hundreds of dolmens or geysers any better.

I would just appreciate some official comments here about the matter. Clearly, it hasn't landed well, and the silence doesn't feel appropriate for the situation.

It's probably just a change for text consistency. While most people seem to think Trueflame is easier to get than the others, the chance is likely the same, with it just coming down to how many more fishing attempts you can make per minute than boss kills or dolmens.
