It makes no sense why we cannot trade items to finish event. It's MMORPG afterall.
This leaves a bad taste for 10 year anniversary and what future holds.
I thought we weren't going to repeat murkmire event....but here we go.

Rare is okay with luck can be traded with other things. If the concern is people wouldn't play then that's a great misconception.
The anniversary event is the most popular event in the game because it gives you freedom to do event is many ways and trade others for things you just don't want to do
If trying to increase profit margin with event then do eso free trial again and get people addicted to storage management and saving time.
Resell baker outfit
Create a baker personality
Sell special bag of flour and "special" sugars flour bag for housing items
Throw cake emote or memento
