I don't use any addons, what feature is this about? Not the carpet thing right? The only thing I know about EHT is it changing textures of things or something
When I read that it's supposed to be a "pretty cool" housing feature that they're extremely "exited" about, then I expect more than anything purely practical or functional (like the alignment of walls). Maybe something more like assigning emotes to houseguests. I would like something that gives you a reason to travel to your house, like growing plants that you can then use in alchemy and cooking.
I grow plants in my Enshrouded homes. Love it.
I'd be very happy to have a bunch of potted plants in my ESO homes. Even 20 more furniture slots that are pots to grow plants in would be nice.
But considering the item limit problems that ESO has... I don't think we're getting any type of gardening.
Personally, I'm going to be pretty disappointed if the "new housing feature" is just a QoL update for furniture placement. Unless they're actually releasing a whole Sims style building system where walls and etc don't count as furnishings, but I doubt that. I'd really like to just see more features that give homes more function and legitimate use.
Just FYI, the hiring of Cardinal05 was many years ago and we've already benefitted from EHT things being built into the game, like grouping & precision editing.
Loved seeing the article (super feel-good story, coder makes killer free addon and gets recruited by the company). It couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.
Now if they'd just do the same with a trading addon author or two!

i hope for a furniture bag too but ust adding a little furniture bag to your inventory isnt really an announcement worthy and important "q3 big housing update"
