10 year celebration
You know I've played since beta on and off and usually come back every couple of months to see how the game has progressed and if it can keep me my attention and fill that void of wanting a good mmo but how do you miss the mark this bad every time ?
10 year celebration fun for us players in zos eyes is to mind numbing run 100+ dolmens until a unique style page drops or is it standing at the same world boss for 15 hours and not get a single drop ? [snip] What's with the Bind On Equip style pages since High isle we've been getting locked out of style pages that can't be traded that we use to just log in if we put eso down for awhile and used our hard earned gold to buy them oh no not anymore pal. You don't play our game during this time frame you're screwed and for what to force people to play the game using FOMO scare tactics. Is that what were doing now, really ?
You could have made some engaging challenges or mile stone but no you put some unique pages in the world force it to be BOE with no other way of being obtained and then lock it behind the worst drop chances since beta world of warcraft. Entire map is filled with people bored out of their mind in game chat saying how much this game sucks and it's the worst event that has ever happened and feels like a chore rather than a game. Bind on Equip paired with FOMO is the new future of eso ? Or how about $100 houses, gambling ? $40 for a personal banker ? You know I wish this game was p2w it would be cheaper.
Housing and fashion are endgame for ESO so the new direction the game is taking is to force everybody to be in a state of mind of FOMO so what they can see what their missing when not engaging with your content or is it to drive home the number 1 rule in mmos ? [snip]
You know with one tamerial and morrowind this game had a lot going for it even now with one of the best chapters to date imo to release necrom. But I have a life outside of TESO not even including other games I like to play. I'm sorry but I can't devote every single waking hour of my life inside your cash shop with a game attached to it.

Masteroshi430✭✭✭Playing an MMO is being happy having the surprise of an item dropping after 5 years of playing the game, not grinding like crazy 10h a day during one week to get THIS item, then being tired and depressed and go complain non stop in the official forums.

Do we really need to be able to collect all of the special event-related goodies in the first 24 or 48 hours of the event?I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!7 -

" <<<< Can you not read it's right there nobody said anything about instant gratification the entire community is in an uproar with these pages no reason on gods earth people sat at a world boss for 15+ hours yesterday with zero drops. Anifaas✭✭✭✭✭It is best to set your expectations to low for ESO and try to find happiness in the little things. I try to think of it as a cozy, legacy RPG I can play with my children rather than a contemporary MMO I play competitively with my friends. lol. Make sure you don’t have bind on pickup active for girlfriends. Respec is expensive!

If they did we would have posts like ‘this events sucks there is nothing to do after 2 days’. xD
I do understand the frustration some people are having tho. I usually change my outfit once a year and buy motifs from guild stores with stuff that is reasonably priced. But for people who just want to ‘have everything checkmarked’ this can get very time consuming and frustrating.
A free battlepass system would be better and people could play more differently, but if everyone unlocks everything the economy would probably be borked.0
