Do they even drop anymore?
This is the third time I'm trying to collect this pet... Currently sitting at 3/7 fragments. And it doesn't seem to be possible to buy them with tickets anymore.
At this point it feels like the game is trolling me.

Xoelarasizerer✭✭✭Was unsure myself as the article for this years event is written in a way that looks as though they are in the standard boxes whereas the description for each fragment in game still claimed they only drop from the Stupendous boxes.
I can confirm however, they are very rare drops from the standard boxes (the 7 per character a day). Over doing all the festival quests across 12ish toons repeatedly for 3 days, I found the 6 fragments I was missing.. The game may be unfortunately trolling you with the RNG odds as they felt quite rare from my grind.Edited by Xoelarasizerer on April 2, 2024 10:54AM1 -

✭✭Yes, they do drop from purple boxes, but drop rates aren't great. Will take a lot of grind with many characters.1 -

I was farming regular boxes as well, but only got some joke popper parts and mirth shards.
I wish I could just buy the damn thing with tickets.2 -
Bethgael✭✭✭✭I've spent the last 2 years trying to finish my SS and these fragments just don't drop for me. 2 years ago, one just dropped, but then no others did so I worked on the achieves instead. Last year, I had seven of my chars go through the entire festival, and I got one fragment--so now I have 2. This year, I haven't had the time to do this so was hoping they'd be buyable (or there'd be a "last few years bag" like the other events). ✭✭I have suspicion that system might be similar to BG style pages, where it is possible to roll fragment you already own, but it will just not show up for you, from your point of view it will be like you got no fragment yet again. Getting first couple of fragments was much easier than last few.2 -

Ugh. Is that still a thing? It honestly turned me off BGs because it became more and more difficult to get rewards which is the opposite of how a system should work.

✭I thought these fragments only dropped from the golden jester reward boxes, which you only get one of per account per day? I say this because that's what's stated when you scroll over the fragment pieces in the collections menu.

I can't speak for previous years, but they definitely dropped from purple coffers this year. I was able to get two fragments from purple coffers and one from a gold coffer this year, finally completing the pet after four years.1 -

✭✭✭Yes they were dropping, I got one in the dozens of boxes I opened (PC EU).
Drop ratio should be a lot better, it doesn't seem to be in line with the drop ratio of the other items.
