I’ve been playing this game pretty much since it came out and I could count the amount of people I’ve seen in there on one hand. In fact maybe only half a hand

Rediculous achievement . Only way to get it is to cheese it with a friend - which is pointless.

Anyone else agree?

    Should just change it to defeat 100 players in the arena district, rather than just the arena itself.

    I nearly threw in the towel of completing the Imperial city story line, due to that location, multi stage boss fight needed for progressing the story not just out in the open but an achievement to encourage people to get in the way, think it took me a little over a dozen attempts a few years ago to be able to complete the boss fight without being interrupted or killed part way.

    It was a bit more realistic back before they introduced district control and a few other things, and fights in the arena just for the heck of it were slightly more frequent. Slightly.

    In any case - if you really want the achievement, get a guild to run two groups of different alliances together. The group's kills count, iirc, as long as everything's happening in the arena.
    Don't do that while any kind of event is going on.

    You can also try on midyear mayhem or IC event. It's often filled in there then.

    It really isn’t. I saw maybe 2 people on there . And the ones that were in the wider city were gankers doing AP hits so they weren’t in there for long

    it was a lot better back before they limited district respawning

    its also a bit easier to do during the whitestrake event because theres a lot more squishier targets that might be trying to do the arena (protip: dont try to do the IC story quests during the whitestrake event lol)

    i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (fully filled out with current game), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

    At least on pceu there are consistent flow of payers on events for the encounter inside, pretty much all time it's up.

    We've run many cross-guild events in that arena to get the achievements, makes it a ton of fun and very chaotic, piling 30+ players into that little ring.

    That is what I would recommend too. The so called *kill trading* for achievements is a common used thing. I have seen it myself in all MMOs I have played so far. In the moment such an achievement can't be completed in a reasonable amount of time anylonger (for what ever reasons), people group up / form groups and start the kill trading. It is fast and easy :wink: !

    Btw., there are some other *get X amount of kills* achievements you could use this methode for. For example the one where you have to kill X number of players in the arena ruins near Alinor.

    Ages ago I participated in a guild event that helped me with 100 arena kills a lot.
    It wasn't "kill trading". Those tradings smells bad, if you ask me.
    It was a duel tournament in 1x1, 2x2 and 4x4 scheme. Well, 4x4 part was rather for fun than for tournament.
    It was organized inside that arena.

    No classic tournament "tree". That would make no sense due to alliance bound fighters.
    Just "each vs each" cross alliance with win/lose count. It has made the tournament possible and also maximized the kill chances for every participant in comparison to the "tree".
    2x2 encounter gave a chance to have some kills even to a guy who lost all his 1x1.

    OP why don't you try to make something like that?
    I know that existing duel mechanic makes it harder to attract people to duel in IC. But I guess it is still possible and might be a lot of fun.
    Same for Arthaeum achievement though.

    I think the biggest issue is that in most cases you have to basically kite players into the arena. And players just don't bite on that chase as much as it would help to clear the achievement.

    I think once I hit my Grand Overlord rank on my main, I might just bomb the reward chest on repeat during the next whitestrake.
