[SOLVED] Missing pre-order items for Gold Road

Hi!

Have any of you experienced *not* getting the pre-order items for Gold Road (the wolf mount and pet)?

I bought the Gold Road Deluxe Collector's Upgrade yesterday (Saturday, 16 March 2024) and applied the code to my account on the Elder Scrolls Online website. Despite logging in repeatedly since then I haven't gotten the items. That was one of the reasons I bought before 18 March 2024 as I'm quite certain I could've saved money by buying closer to launch.

    I thought to get this too but then I learned that the current dlc were not part of the gold road dlc. But I may be wrong and we both suffer from a bug.

    Well, the current DLC, Scions of Ithelia, is a separate purchase from the chapter. Always has been this way. Except this time you can actually get it for free (to keep?) if you subscibe to ESO+. At least it's listed as an ESO+ Deal.

    Check your confirmation email, there might be seperate codes.

    I bought Gold Road a few days ago (from Green Man Gaming) and for some reason I got 3 different codes; one for the chapter itself, one for "mount and incentives" (actually just the mount) and one for "pet bonus".

    That didn't happen with Blackwood or Greymoor (which I got the same way) and I didn't pre-order High Isle or Necrom so I'm not sure about them, but it might be a new thing.

    Thank you so much for mentioning this! When I bought the chapter on CDKeys (cheapest deal for the Deluxe version) it only showed the key for the chapter itself. Now I rechecked and two additional codes turned up. Tried applying them in-game first, but they must be applied on the website like the chapter code.

    And no, this is a new way to go about things. I always end up pre-ordering ESO chapters. It's my guilty pleasure and also kind of a b-day gift to myself since the chapters typically are released around my birthday. I suspect the thing with three separate codes is done to keep tabs on the pre-order bonuses, although I think it's a customer-unfriendly way to go about it. I believe they could just as easily keep tabs on when a code is redeemed. If it's before the deadline you get the bonuses; if it's later you don't. Just my two cents.
