4 man proc sets not working as intended - Arkasis's Genius & Poweful Assault

Since update 41, proc sets that are supposed to hit up to 4 group members have been hitting all 12 players in the group.

This thread is going to be about the two popular sets Arkasis's Genius & Powerful Assault. But I have my suspicions that a set like Drake's Rush is also bugged. And that it affects every proc set.

I encourage players that find other sets to post on here. Also, the dev team to make a response so that players don't have to feel afraid of repercussions for using said sets.

I also want to encourage people to keep it civil, despite this bug being in the favour of players. We must report all as a show of good faith. I also think it's important to make all players aware to keep a fair player ground. It's for these reasons that I made this thread. Not as an attempt to ruin anyone's fun.

    True I forgot it was 6 people, still it shouldn't hit 12 people at once.

    Looking at logs, sets such as MA/WM, PP etc all seem to be working as intended. I wonder if it's an intended change that just didn't make it into the patch notes?

    They do miss patch notes, but that is a very big one to miss. They also would have missed updating the set tooltips. An official comment either way is indicated.

    I will also say that this is not the only new issue introduced with sets. Azure is now even more broken than before. For the past few updates it has allowed all players wearing the set to all contribute to the same single stack on a target (so that a single stack can reach 20x in 0.5 seconds, for example), and it then assigns the explosion damage to one of the Azure players who contributed, regardless of who had gotten nominal credit for the stack itself. Now it's the case that multiple players (I've seen up to 3 at once) can be chosen as the source of the explosion, so that 2x or 3x explosions can occur simultaneously (in the same millisecond) from the same single stack on a single enemy reaching 20x in a fight with only one target. In a log I looked at from a Sanity's Edge run earlier this week, a simultaneous explosion from two or three players happened 8 times in the 22 seconds between the spiral descender coming down (being the only mob present in the fight) and the spawning of its add. There were additional instances where explosions happened singly as well in that time.

    Honestly, I think PA should be made to hit 12 people at once because the targetting for the set is frustrating to get working right— I always miss a couple people.

    Arkasis though, yeah that one should be fixed.

    LOL I was thinking other way around-- vigor only hits 6 people so you double tap anyways, but it would be nice to have another viable tank set for trials if they leave arkasis hitting 12 people.

    I think there's enough tank sets TBH... healer sets on the other hand...
