How to determine Guild Trader prices on console?

Title.

I‘m playing on PlayStation 5 (EU) and I have tons (and I mean tons) of stuff from all my years playing ESO. I never sold anything so my bank is overloaded with recipes, style pages, resources and what not - I’d like to sell stuff to get some space, but I’ve never done so and I have no clue how to determine the correct price. I know for PC there are addons that help with this, but is there something similar for console players? Is there a website I can check prices for my server?

Dear fellow console traders, how are you doing business? Please help a new businessman. Thanks!

i think TTC can track console stuff, but its all manually uploaded and not usually up to date

outside of that i dont think theres really any ideal way to do it except search for the item you want to sell on guild stores to get a rough idea what people are listing it for

you can always "guess" it too, if its too high and doesnt sell then lower it the next time
    plays PC/NA

    active player since april 2014

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

feel free to stop by and use the facilities

If you're not in a capital city traders...
I recommend going to the bank in one of the capital cities and holding the button that lets you search for an item you want to list in your own guild trader.

Then head down to the guild traders. Once you have a small list, you can use the recent search button to check the traders for the items you want to sell. You'll be able to easily hit trader to trader getting an idea of the price range.

Once you know the price, list on the low end or undercut it very slightly so that anyone who sees it feels a deal compared to capital city prices, depending on the item.

If you're in a capital city traders...
Hold down that lets you search for an item you want to list in your own guild trader. Then compare your guilds prices to other guilds to make sure it's not just overpriced leftover stock at your trader. Then match either your guilds price if it's not too far away from market value, or the market value of the item depending on your guilds policy.

While I am not a console trader, I have traded for a couple of years without any addons on PC (because some addons would slow down the game and others were not being that helpful due to being susceptible to certain trade manipulations).

If you have lots of stuff to sell, I think it takes too much time to search TTC (Tamriel Trade Centre website) for every item (this time is often better spent doing actual trading or other activities that get you gold) except the most valuable ones. So, I found it useful to establish a system that lets you guess prices with a decent precision without looking it up

This system is far from ideal, so you will lose some gold by making bad guesses, but you will be compensated by spending less time on trading which will let you spend this time on something that procures gold or actual items to sell.

I would say, the easiest way to guess a correct price is to establish some points of reference for the general value of things:
    1) an average gold per hour income of most popular farming activities (from this you could approximate a value of an item depending on how much time it takes to farm this item and multiplying the time by gold per hour income value) - calculate on your own or ask people around how much gold can certain activities net you like running Vet or HM dungeons, doing daily writs, collecting crafting mats, stealing valuable items
    2) the average cost of most important and popular consumables (temper mats, potions and potion mats etc) since they represent the economy and from these values you can project prices for other items
    3) get a general gist of prices for certain groups and families of items (like motifs, recipes, loot, style mats) by selecting the corresponding category in trader menu and simply scrolling through prices at traders in active trade zones
    4) scale your guess depending on the current popularity and availability of an item (which is something you would probably know from experience, if you play the corresponding aspect of the game)
    5) if you have multiples of an item, start by putting them on sale one by one, first at a slightly lower pricing point. If it gets bought within a couple of minutes, double the price for the next entry, if it gets bought within an hour, raise a price by 50% and so on (lower the price if takes too long). Do it until you sell your items within the interval you find appropriate

Start with less valuable items (again you can somewhat guess a general value from how long it took you to get an item) so you won't lose a lot of gold, because it is certain that your first attemts would be pretty inaccurate.

This is usually enough to be able to make correct pricing guesses without spending too much time searching through TTC or guild stores. This saved me hours upon hours (obviously, you need to spend some initial hours to research the market, but then this system works well as long as you keep your mind map up to date, which is done by simply continuing to trade)

P.S. Also, if you have a lot to sell, always get into the top trading guild or at least into a guild in a trading hotspot on your server. You will be able to meet requirements at first even if you have to sell stuff faster (thus cheaper), but being able to sell at hotspot makes a real difference

Manually check the capitals and chapter capitals.

Not the answer one probably wants, but we don’t really have a TTC for console. Gotta slog around Tamriel like the good Lord ZOS intended.

I’m on PS NA. I hit the guilds in Elden Root, Wayrest, and Mournhold and check prices for the item I want to sell. I figure the ones in the traders aren’t selling, especially if they have been there for a while, so I price at the low end or slightly lower to sell.

I tried TTC a long time ago but it is virtually empty for console data. Also other websites are going to use PC data, and their prices are crazy high compared to ours.
