Now the worst meta that exists at all, stat builds are just at the very bottom and do not represent any adequate competitor to dot/proc builds. There is no variation of builds, you put on a build in which every 2nd if not 1st runs and just enjoy the gameplay without any effort because sets will kill for you.
If everything continues like this without drastic changes in the balance, then pvp will become deader than dead. Old experienced players have long abandoned pvp because pvp in this game does not develop and goes towards the void. There is no motivation to come up with some special build knowing that the proc/dot build will simply destroy it.

✭Yea I agree and I honestly don't see the nerf to MDW being all that effective at changing it especially on arcanist who have no effective DMG with out it0 -

Yea but nb doesn't need procs as has built in burst that can't be matched.4 -

emsuperman24✭✭✭They should tone down proc/dots and buff skill based dots to begin with.
Other than that has to be a way for all out offense to be as good as all out defense. Right now ya just (defensive play style) has a lot more upside.1 -

Every other class has abilities with delayed burst that they can use to hit the same if not higher burst than NB.
Except Templar because they have to build their burst up over 6s and it's been heavily nerfed.
Haunting Curse, Deep Fissure, or Blighted Blastbones, any of those timed with a burst ultimate - commonly Saw breaker - can do 30k burst damage.
DK doesn't but to the same degree but you can combo Deep Breath, FoO and Whip. Especially in Corro this will "one shot" a lot of players.

True but how many classes have skills that do 20-25k DMG on their own that isn't an ultimate?2 -

So you accept that at least 3 other classes can do equal if not greater burst damage than NB but you still focus on NB just because it comes from one skill?
You could give NB a delayed burst skill then nerf bow proc sure. But the class has never had that delayed burst skill. Not it's identity. Therefore it needs to able to do burst with the skills it has, being bow proc.PC EU > You2 -

✭✭Delayed burst is what gets me to play other classes than NB. You find out on a NB fairly quickly when you dump a full combo on a high health warden and their health almost instantly goes from 1/3 or 1/4 even, to full. A properly timed combo from other classes and that 1 second GCD is one less heal for them that makes the difference of getting an execute off.
Still; that is speaking as a brawler build. There is a bit of having the high damage ability that makes it close to other classes combo as a brawler; yet still having the ability to cloak at will and shadow image around, full glass to where you can gank and bomb easier than everyone else, while also having the heals of everyone else.
I think the issues lie in it seems most classes get high damage and high healing and survivability while now NBs and Sorcs get that to go with their high evasiveness and range in some cases. Seems only Templar is told they can't have high both heals and damage because of execute, and Necros are just simply told to pound sand.
Edit: This is speaking Stat builds. Obviously you can supplement with procs and many all use the same so it still cones out the sameEdited by TechMaybeHic on March 13, 2024 1:15PM2
