Are Dragon Hunt and the Dragonguard's Query bugged?

I always keep these quests active (never know when you might kill a dragon!) but I killed a dragon today and got no quest credit for it. In the quest entry the goal "Kill a dragon" is greyed out like it is completed but the next step "return to Chizbari" is not there and I cannot complete the quest with her. I checked Dragon Hunt and same thing. Looks done but the quest giver won't talk to me. Did something about these quests change? Thanks!

It once used to be "Kill three dragons", but they've changed that. Since this is a daily quest, I'd simply try to restart it and try it one more time. Also restarting the game or /reloadui could maybe help. Good luck!

unless they changed it too, the dragon hunt dailies have to be done in the respective zone

so the dragon hunt daily in north elsweyr has to be completed by killing dragons in north elsweyr, and south elsweyr dragon hunt has to be completed in south elsweyr since both quests mark the respective landing sites

its been awhile since i did them though so i dont know if it changed to be similar to the harrowstorm one where you can complete both western skyrim and the reach harrowstorm daily regardless of which zone you do the harrowstorm in
