BUG BUGGEDY BUG - Battlegrounds disconnect - should you be penalized as a deserter?

So I was disconnected halfway through a deathmatch. Reloaded quickly and I was put back to a pve zone and penalized by an 18m queue restriction for being a deserter. Really?
With dungeons you can rejoin after a dc if quick. I saw someone else drop off, so I think it was a central glitch and not anything at my end. so, again, Really? I lost the time spent, xp etc through no fault on my side and penalized for it too.

✭Except for disconnects and other glitches, it's probably for the best. I'd say about half the time when I play, the outlook is very grimm at first. If there was no penalty I would probably drop out just like a lot of other players. But when the penalty is longer than the actual match you might as well tough it out and at least get some AP.

coulterk✭✭My point on dung they know a dc vs a leave on purpose. Penalized for a leave, a dc you can rejoin. With battlegrounds penalized whatever.0

Pyr0xyrecuprotite✭✭✭✭✭I queued for a random BG today. Got the loading screen for a deathmatch BG. Waited... and waited... and waited... Eventually (after about 5m), I got booted back to my original zone, with a deserter penalty timeout to boot. I feel sorry for the other people on my team, whatever colour it was... (I never got to see them).0 -

✭Right at this moment, see another thread started too - but blue screen disconnects are almost certainly linked to executes on other players (I've personally experienced a LOT of blue screens on killer's blade).0 -
