There are accounts where we travel in time, or to alternative timelines to interact and realign the correct timeline.

I've been thinking what would Cyro look like if ZOS made a Chapter on Cyro's grounds. No war, as in PvP, but some other Daedric Prince(es) (not Molly Bally) messing around. Jyggalag, for instance, because "the world is such a mess - no logic, no nothing".

There is a concept of Dragon Break, so one could follow up on this.

    I think the current model is good. We explore a specific period, not several eras.

    The game is said to take place exclusively in 2E 582.
    The truth is that we should say that the game takes place around the year 2E 582. That all of these events happened at some point around that date.

    We FR roleplayers consider 1 year IRL = 1 year IG.
    So for example, Elsweyr takes place in 2E 587. Greymoor in 2E 588. ...And Gold Road in 2E 592.

    Keep campaign Cyrodiil/IC in the past (can still queue for that content) and create a PvE version of Cyrodiil/IC (fully restored and no longer war-torn) that advances the alliance war storyline (set after restoring the dragonfires in IC).

    • Gold/Purple Food for Sorc PvP and Meme Tanking:(PvP) Clockwork Citrus Filet (increases Max Health by 3326, Health Recovery by 406 [useful if stage 1 vampire], Max Magicka by 3080, and Magicka Recovery by 338 for 2 hours). Witchmother's Potent Brew (Increase Max Magicka by 2856, Max Health by 3094, and Magicka Recovery by 315 for 2 hours.
    • Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
    • Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

    I've been thinking the same thing. Especially with the new "Prince of the path not taken" that seems perfect for exploration of alternate timelines without having to resort to something as severe as dragon breaks.

    Situations that maybe never happened and never will, as far as the future is concerned, but through Ithelia they can exist precisely because they don't occur. Creating a space for huge creative freedom to explore the what-if's.

    Not that I actually know more about how ZOS has conceptualized Ithelia than what has been presented in the teaser material, so it is obviously just my impression of how this could work.

    This way we can have PVP Cyrodiil as today, at the same time as having PVE Cyrodiil without these being in conflict or needing compromise beyond what ends up in future lore.

    Just like how you can have a main body of lore, about for example Star Wars. It's fine but the main plots are inherently limited. However the spin-off stories that exist within that universe are in many ways equal or superior to those. It's almost fractal in a sense, where you can zoom in on a peripheral character and end up with them as a main character in a full-fledged story.

    Not completely true tough, we know tiber septim defeated the SECOND aldemeri dominion while we currently experiancing the first one. Something must have happen for the first dominion, the pact and the covenent not being around when tiber septim came around. A temporary peace could easily have happende for a few years. I mean there was peace before manimarco did his thing howeve how short that peace was.

    Not really a problem, but what @sarahthes pointed out is vital. Hence, as we had Hermie in Necrom chapter, the prince could be used to push us forward in time, where despite the Three-banners War no longer being the case, some other problem can be brewing.
