One of the things I love about Elder Scrolls games is that they have a bit of a sandbox design. You can play for hours without doing a single quest, instead spending your time exploring, hunting, or just watching NPCs go about their lives or, in the case of ESO, just watching other players.
Lately I've been having fun killing some bots.
First, find a char you think is a bot
Second, find a nearby enemy. It needs to have an AOE attack and needs to be weak enough that it can't kill you but strong enough to easily kill the bot character. I've found Bull Netches to work great. Betty Netches work good as well but take longer.
Attack it so it turns aggressive and run to the bot.
Defend, defend, defend.
When you see it getting ready to do its AOE attack, run out of the range so the bot gets hit. Any real player would either run or start attacking at this point, if not earlier.
Let it do a few more AOEs and you have a dead bot. Hurry and collect what you can before the bot respawns and goes right back to farming.
And don't forget to file a report about the character.
