wonder if anyone encountered this too.
It either shows wrong duration (covers like half of the game), or just missed several fights.
Also I can't see class icon on the board anymore. It's just gone.

✭✭✭If you're talking about class icons on the scoreboard in a BG, that comes from the addon "Better Scoreboard", not Combat Metrics or a vanilla feature. Re-download that addon and make sure you have any required libraries.
Combat Metrics itself has always been weird in PvP because of the whole "stuck in combat" issue.1 -

✭✭✭✭✭combat metrics by default has settings to be partially disabled while in pvp unless you go into the settings to fully enable it
i usually use the scrolling combat log from foundry tactical combat to review action in pvp1
