if you were getting disconnected due to unstable internet, your character stays online for a bit still anyway, and its likely they would have died if you were in combat when getting disconnected

if you were in the middle of a round, and got disconnected and didnt die, then you would probably still lose the thread if you were solo because it was resetting the round

every time the round resets you lose a thread (ive had issues with 2 players when we wiped on a boss, and one player was still a rez ghost and the other player started fighting the boss again, it would reset again when the 2nd player stopped being a rez ghost costing another thread)

i do wish it was a little more forgiving in some of those situations though, but they have fixed some of the issues with unintended thread loss
