Crowns missing after lapse in ESO+

I had been an ESO+ member for years, and last year I decided to take a break for a while. Today I decided to get back in to it, and when I logged on my account, my crown balance is zero. I had something like 15K crowns when I ended my membership. I can't find any support articles or topics for this issue, can someone help me with this? Where are my crowns? I was going to sign up again, but if I can't have my crowns back, I doubt if I will.

✭✭Are you in Japan? In a previous patch they had to implement Crowns expiring in Japan due to Japanese laws on currency (from memory)
