One person's specific request for 2 recipes?! Must be a subforum. Try the players helping players one?

Because if someone happens to have those recipes and wanted to send them to you, they couldn't if they weren't on the same systerm and server location.

Now, just for some real info: you can go to uesp.net and put the recipe names into the search field, and find out where they are located.

Well, then, try a search on google. There are other websites which have locations etc. for ESO items. I just don't use anything but uesp.

I have received both those recipies as rewards from daily crafting writs, I do them on multiple characters who are different levels

Pretty sure I've received the Ten Foot Beer in a ToT reward coffer too, hope this helps! 🙂

Unfortunately you can get recipes from almost everything so there's no way of obtaining these two particular recipes without a lot of praying to RNG. Your best bet is either guild stores or asking in zone chat. If they are writ recipes though, they can be bought from chef/brewer npcs

Google sent me to eso-hub, where I found a tab called trading, where I found who was selling the recipe.

so yes... google is good advice, you just have to know how to use it, if you have enough neurons.

If you want to farm any specific base-game recipe, just do Provisioning writs at the same level as the recipe you are looking for. Both Ten-Foot Beer and Tranquility Pale Ale are level 40 recipes, so this would be very easy to do.

Step 1: Take skill points out of the Recipe Improvement passive to get to skill rank IV where you can craft up to level 49 recipes
Step 2: Do daily provisioning writs
    Step 3: Profit

If every day you those writs you will get a level 40 or 45 recipe as a reward and within a week or two will get the two you are looking for.

Yeah, I really need to bump up the Recipe Improvement on my alts so I can get different recipes from daily writs, because my alts already know all of recipes I'm getting now.

Someone once mentioned that different recipe levels can drop from different base-game zones according to the level of the recipes and the levels which the different base-game zones were originally designed for. Is that still valid, or has One Tamriel pretty much done away with it?

I think they drop based on your character’s provisioning level for the most part. It’s probably similar to how cp160 toons get rubedite 50% of the time and ore equal to whatever rank materials they have passive skills invested in blacksmithing the other 50%. That is why I hold some alts back to get the lower level ones I need on other toons.
