Unable to initialize connection to Steam

This just started happening for me today and I cannot sign in. I have restarted everything and it's the same error every time. Steam is up and all other Steam games work.
Anyone else seeing this?

If I may add to this, also try:
Disabling Nvidia overlay in GeForce experience
Download and run the steam installer and let it repair/reinstall steam (ensure you know your login info!)
This has resolved the issue for me, hope it helps someone else0 -
VanLo83✭✭✭Not just you, there's a lot of people having issues connecting to ESO from Steam right now. Steam discussion forums are starting to light up. Weird thing is, it isn't just ESO having these issues, Star Trek Online is in the same boat. It looks like it's a Steam issue.1 -

It appears to have cleared up and I can log in via Steam again. I am assuming there was some issue with the Steam Auth service that was causing this.
