The House you go into in Red Petal Bastion after the first Boss. SO COOL!! Red Petal is one of my Favorite Dungeons and i happen to stumble upon the Daggerfall Overlook House because i had a Glenumbra Dolmen Quest and was like how can i get to the Daenia Dolmen quickly so I wanted to see if I could buy the house. It is a whopping 3.75 million but as I looked around it seemed so familiar. Then I realized it was the RPB House. Then I noticed RPB is also in Glenumbra. I really want to buy this house now! It is an amazing House! The front and Courtyard are Huge!

It's also the same as Count Verandis Ravenwatch's Castle in Rivenspire.

The same as Count Verandis Ravenwatch's Castle in Rivenspire? It's the same as ANY castle in High Rock zones. They all are identical. Glenumbra, Stormhaven, Rivenspire, Bangkorai. Even Sword's Rest Isle from the Legacy of the Bretons prologue is 99% the same. This is the most serious art-design problem of ESO. I would like to say it's vanilla's problem, but when you remember Summerset (and wish you didn't see it at all).

I was merely pointing out a fact.

The house comes with a title, too.
You may officially call yourself a Lord or Lady.

I liked it, when I bought it years ago. And used it for some years as main house.
But the interior lighting is horrific. You'll need bright lights to get rid of the dungeonesque feel. And fireplaces. Lots of fireplaces.
And the appropriate Breton furnishing style is not exactly beautiful. Nor are the Breton lamps and sconces particularly bright.

I recommend Alinor style furnishing and Solitude sconces.

If anyone here says: OH! But, PVP! I swear I'll ...

Thank you for the valuable input and respectfully recommend to discuss that aspect of ESO on the PVP forum.

    Greetings,

After further review we have decided to move this thread to a category we think is more appropriate for this topic.

    Thank you for your understanding.

I didn't find the lighting to be as big a problem as a lot of the other older houses, but then I always use a lot of sconces etc.. My friend showed me that if I don't sink the Breton sconces as far into the wall as I was they appear brighter.

I went with a combination of High Isle and Breton furnishings and some Redguard carpeting. I don't always use the appropriate styles in my houses and usually combine 2 or 3 styles.

    My Necromancer lives in mine.

Another point about this house is it is great for builders!!

You can build out over the water, either via the trapdoor in the basement or over the wall to the left of the courtyard.

It is my Halloween party house and I have a complete dungeon over the wall.

Are you brave enough to go through the door??

This year I built a parkour course underneath the dungeon....

It was so much fun watching everyone get eaten by slaughterfish....

Did I forget to mention after a certain point the water is full of them!! >:)
    When people say to me........
"You're going to regret that in the morning"
I sleep until midday cos I'm a problem solver!

The hill behind the barn and the stable makes a perfect spot for a Cemetary. Or as my Necromancer calls it, the Guest House.
