I think they will be easy to block off with some landscaping, especially since they are in the corner and they added the biggest tree yet to this update. In fact I might try it and add to my post.
But yeah it would be nice to not have to use slots on that. It would be so cool if there was a "houseless" option in addition to furnished & unfurnished.3 -

I would have preferred a template plot as well, with just the landscape features and the waterfalls.

The new Apocrypha structural furnishings look gigantic (even bigger than the Necrom stuff) - hopefully we'll get a new empty plot soon so we can build something out of it! There are definitely too few empty plots!3 -

Yesss I LOVE how big they are, I've been using a lot of eyeballs and slots with the smaller book piles. The new ones introduced in IA were already great and with these will be even better!1 -

I'd buy the "houseless" option if they sold it.
Since I already own a lot of the homes, I'd happily buy a second copy of them just to have the area WITHOUT the buildings.
