Why do we have beggers in game if we cannot give gold to them.

Some of there dialogues are really sad atleast allow us to give them some gold in exchange for some boost like 10% xp or gold boost for 10 mins or so ?

What do you guys think ?

You mean NPCs or real players? Because we have both... :D

I suppose you mean NPCs: we can give to some of them. There is even a treasure hunt for that ("give to the poor"). Even after you have completed this treasure hunt, you can always keep giving to those beggars (you keep earning a few points for that for ever).

A few, yes. But there are more npcs who have beggar dialogue but you cannot interact with them. Always found that a bit unfortunate, because I know that some of my characters would not just ignore them and walk on.

Agreed, it's unfortunate we can't donate some gold especially to those in towns. Cities like Anvil are crowded with beggars, but no interaction is possible.

As a workaround I sometimes use the Thieves Guild emote (the "gold-rain") when roleplaying to hand over some coin. Not a perfect solution, but sufficient for my purposes.

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.

As far as I recall correctly, I remember that in Worthgar, there is also a NPC asking for gold to help rebuild whatever? The NPC is sometimes at certain locations dispatched through out the whole area Would have to check on that to be sure I don't say something wrong.

And yes, for sure it would do no harm and certainly make sense that we can give to those having an interaction dialog.

They won't take my gold? I guess beggars can be choosers.

I agree that ZOS should have made a lot more miscellaneous world interactions from the start. Beggars, dogs, cats, etc.

I’ve never come across an NPC beggar in ESO whom I had any option to give gold to. :(

That would be lovely, and to be able to interact with some of our pets in our homes like at that one inn in Blackwood!
