How to tell if you have completed the group dungeon quest on a specific alt on console?

Do I have any way to tell if I have completed the quest for a group dungeon on a specific alt?

I know something exists because the PC has an addon that will show that, but I couldn't find it when looking. I have finished most of them on my main, so it doesn't help looking at the mixed achievements.

Warp into the dungeon alone using a wayshrine. Questgiver has an icon above their head? You didn't complete it.

Mind you, trials have daily (light blue) markers and are repeatable.

You can map to the group dungeon and see if you're offered a quest. :) If you can't map there, you haven't been inside.

Problem: Dungeons like City of Ash 1, where you have to fight your way to the quest giver.

If there's a dungeon where it's hard to solo your way to the quest giver, I haven't been in it yet, but it might take a minute or two longer than just the loading screen.

I want a way to see them all, not travel to one at a time.

I guess I will just have to live with the "oh good, I haven't completed this quest and can get a skill point!" though I was hoping for something in the interface instead.

    I need USPF on console.

That's not an add-on function; it's "normal" function for PC.
If you mouse-over an achievement, a little pop-up window is triggered which displays the character who earned it.

Thats why it gives me anxiety just thinking about having to play a mmorpg on console. I literally shivered with unease reading this Thread.

But the OP is asking to check on an alt and this does not work on an alt if you have it already completed with your main character, cuz of the account wide achievements.

Well, I wasn't trying to answer his question, because I don't play on console.
I was only pointing out that the function he was attributing to an add-on was not actually an add-on, but a natural function of the game on PC.
And I was doing that only because console people quite often incorrectly blame add-ons for things out of spite because they don't have the option to use add-ons. (*I am not saying the OP was doing this, just that people often do it.)

the map icon is black if the quests aren't completed.

        edit to add:
if completed it would say some stuff about what you did in the quest when hovering over the map icon.

But that's not what this function of the game does. This function shows you which of your characters did the respective dungeon first. This also does exist on console, and FlopsyPrince is aware of that, as they mentioned it in their original comment.

What they want is a method to check if an alt has done the dungeon quest. What they're referring to is addons like USPF where you can check whether you've done a particular dungeon quest on a specific character. And for that, the ingame function doesn't help at all.

Also, the achievement tells you that a character has defeated all the bosses in that dungeon. That doesn't necessarily mean that they also did the quest giving them a skill point.

The dungeon icon on the map depends on whether or not you've completed the dungeon quest - but that does require logging into that alt to check.

        You are correct.

        I am wrong.

Because I didn't read past the part of his post that I quoted.
        My apologies.

If its white on the map=quest done
If its grey= you have work to do
          Quite easy to understand

Do you see this if you have not entered the dungeon? I don't think so, unless you are close. Too many things on console only show up when you are close to them. Better than not showing up at all of course, but annoying and making this harder.

but if the icon isn't on the character's map yet they haven't discovered it yet so definitely haven't done the quests.
so that makes it even easier to know
