Armour UI improvement or API?

Please let us make armoury addons! The current UI is horrible to use.
We have 2 slots, so the process is always to 1) bring up assistant, 2) interact 3) save current build (CP progression), 4) load another build, 5) interact again, 6) dismiss assistant.
That's over 10 seconds of error prone work compared to a single key press by dressing room addon, and not usable after wipe unless you tell everyone to hold.
EDIT: or just let us bind builds to quick slots. I'd be a lot more willing to buy extra slots if it's not a hassle to use.
