Any fix for steam / launcher????

This appears to have been a thing for a LONG time now.

Steam launcher straight up doesn’t work. Hit play and nothing happens, game doesn’t load.
Tried all fixes from elder scrolls and steam website, such as repair launcher, cleared cache, run as admin, load into steam as a non steam game etc etc

Some days works, most days doesn’t. Game is currently not playable and haven’t been able to access for days.

No official fix for what appears to have been a problem for years.

Any admin able to help???

Not using steam myself, but can't you send a ticket to ZOS to get your ESO accountname and try the standalone client to log in? Just as a workaround, so you can atleast play. This would give you time to figure out why the steamclient is giving you problems, without making you lose playtime.

ESO steam accounts are on the same server as the standalone client(PC EU/NA). So you wouldn't lose anything.

Weird that on some days it does work and on others it doesn't, to me this seems like an unstable network connection/ISP. Maybe a broken router or anti-virus/firewall could be kicking in? Make sure you are not running any other (background)programs that may conflict with either steam or ESO.

Hopefully you get this fixed very fast!

PS: Personally I would never want to use multiple launchers to launch a game, because if any of them has an issue(or an issue with eachother) the game won't launch.

Have you tried deleting ESO on Steam and then reinstalling it?

About 4 Years ago Steam and ZOS don't work well together for a time.
Since then I have no Problems starting ESO over Steam.

Try to delete and reinstall the Game.

Tried the Beta launcher to see if that works better? (You can easily revert back)

Had this problem couple weeks ago. Completely uninstalling and then downloading and reinstalling Steam fixed it for me.
