    Greetings,

After further review we have decided to move this thread to a category we think is more appropriate for this topic, as it's asking the community for assistance.

    Thank you for your understanding

For primary healer, I believe the general meta is Spell Power Cure + Perfected Pillagers + Symphony of Blades

The second healer usually wears Roaring Opportunist + Jorvuld’s + Spaulder of Ruin (ideally) with one piece monster set

There are other good sets, but these seem to be the default when I run trials. Some other set-ups may be situationally better and require coordination with the tanks as well as the other healer (Powerful Assault, for instance). Resource regen sets like Stonetalker’s are not so useful at present — buffing damage and ult gen generally is.

Arcanist with its class set Reawakend Hierophant instead of Pllager is something to consider though it might be difficult to master regarding the Crux minigame.

Said this in another post, but with a lot of organized groups now, you will see roles for "ROJO [Roaring Opportunist/Jorvulds Guidance] Healer" and/or "SPC/Pillager Healer" for trials. The ROJO Healer is expected to heavy attack with enough frequency to give the DDs Major Slayer while keeping up damage shields and/or buffs on the group and extending them with Jorvulds'. SPC/Pillager is expected to overheal with enough frequency to keep up Major Courage and gain ultimates quickly and use them to help the DDs gain ultimate. Both roles help push the damage and speed up the boss fight, which in turn requires less healing.

Your call on mythics or monster sets. Usually depends on what the other healer and/or tanks are wearing. The Master's Restoration Staff is preferred, with the BRP Resto Staff being useful if you are in a trial where the main tank is going to take a lot of damage. Occasionally, there will still be a healer wearing Powerful Assault, but not as much as earlier this year.

Truly sad that rojo exists. This proves healers don't need sustain in magic regain.

What happened to healers actually healing

RO/JO healer still has to heal... it's not constant heavy attacking, only twice every 16 or 18 seconds or so. Healers already have to HA sometimes.

Exactly this. The healer role has definitely expanded from the original of primarily healing to more of a debuff/buff role. But the heavy attack was always in my healing rotation, even back when IA was a thing and we were using lightning staffs.
