Just an idea, and one that would be helpful in vanilla zones, as there are no WB quests:
Could you make the World Boss icons flash so that others can see whether somebody has engaged them?
Aaaaand save yourself the hassle of "but dey be soloable" - yes, if you're maxed out. Not everyone is.

✭✭✭I'm against this change, as soloing WBs would become next to impossible.
If you need help with a specific boss fight, just communicate your request in one of the ways usual for mmos: ask in guild, zone chat or even the newly implemented group finder.Never get between a cat and it's candy!

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.1 -
DrScott59✭✭✭If you saw a base zone WB icon flashing on the map, it would likely be dead before you got there. The fights just don't last long.

✭✭✭✭✭Just give a shout for help in zone chat-- but please specify which world boss it is, because "need help with this boss" is too vague. (I'm not suggesting that you've done this, but some players do.) A lot of players will not hesitate run and help anyone who needs assistance with a world boss.I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!1
