It finally happened. Ran a VHRC plunder run yesterday on PS-NA. One DD, before going into HRC, started out by playing bad music and complaining that nobody was talking to him. Figured he might be drunk, gave the run a chance anyway. He died on his way to the bridge, a la the "golden skyshard." He then did the DPS dance with the first boss, killing himself and one player repeatedly. Figured both might be due to inexperience and drinking. Group was solid, kept going. He went up top, I went to the bottom boss. We wrecked our boss in the appropriate time. His group took forever, he kept dying, and complaining the fight was taking so long. Foolishly kept going. He blew the horn, but the group was good so no ill effects. And, as you could probably surmise, he broke the statues to activate hard mode. Like an idiot, I gave it one chance, until I saw him rush the boss to start the fight before the group could set up for hard mode.

I am actually surprised it took this long to encounter this through the new group finder, as its been very positive overall, but I knew this was inevitable. Still baffled as to why someone would waste 20-30 minutes to activate hard mode to troll. Wish we could name players on these boards so they could avoid people like him.
