Master Crafting Stations Adjustments to make them more user friendly

If you have assigned using a set at a master crafting table, you should only be able to craft that set until you change it, (Should not be the tabs for crafting without a set). That is done by not picking a set.

If you are doing a master crafting writ with the quest only check box checked it should automatically pick the set for that writ, without you having to set it.

There should also be another way to manually pick the set you want to craft in a alphabetical list rather than picking it by zone.

The way they are now I would rather not have the master crafting stations and just go back to the individual tables.

I agree with your second and third points — quest only should select the proper set and I’m surprised alphabetical isn’t already an option. The default being no set makes sense to me.

The default is no set, but after you choose a set the L1 an R1 options at the top toggle between set weapon, set armor, no set weapon, no set armor (for blacksmithing and woodworking). it should not have the option here for no set, to do that you should go back to not choosing a set. What is the point of choosing a set and then going to the tab for no set. It is easy to choose a set and then craft a piece that is no set by being on the wrong tab.

Ah, I see. That makes sense; I agree with you.
I’m still working toward acquiring mine so I haven’t had experience doing master writs on them yet.

im still working on filling out my stations as well, but i usually batch-queue master writs with writworthy addon which automatically crafts and upgrades all items at each station, its so much nicer not having to run between 20 different tables

Playstation and X-box do not get addons. it seems many of the parts of this game that need the most work PC players get an addon to fix them.

I completely agree with you that the master writs not selecting the set for you and not having an alphabetical list is a shortsighted act on ZOS part.

It makes me think that no one at ZOS really plays on consoles anymore or tests the functionality of things like this. The first time I used the new system, it was an oblivious misstep on their part. I really hope they fix this and it doesn’t fall into nothingness here on the forums.

I would tag Kevin, but I'm not exactly sure how to do it. If anyone could, I would appreciate it. Thanks, and stay safe :)

I love the aesthetics of the new crafting stations, but the way that they work is just clunky and I would personally rather use the old system of multiple tables. Choosing options alphabetically would have been the common sense approach, but hopefully this will be addressed in a QoL update somewhere in the coming years.
