Which class fit well with one bar fire staff?
I was thinking necromancer and dragonknight and Sorcerer.
Sorcerer fit well but it feel lightning is better because attack multiple enemies.
Dragonknight is a hard choice because fire staff and shield fit well.
Necro fit well because help on single attacks but not sure what other weapon fit well for him.

✭✭✭✭Aesthetically speaking, DK, necro, templar, NB. PvE speaking, DK and templar frontbar might as well be dagger but range necro and range NB could use fire staff frontbar. Any could use fire staff backbar. Turtle_Bot✭✭✭✭✭
✭✭Dragonknight will be the best option, the class has a lot of Damage over time abilities/effects that get boosted by fire staff, it also has passives that boost fire damage and has a lot of fire damage skills if you are wanting to make a fire-mage themed character.
The Dragonknight class is also in a very strong spot currently.3 -

✭✭1 hand and shield can work on any class, DK is also very good with it.
Just note though that 1 hand + shield line is a tank focused weapon, so it typically won't have good DPS compared to the DPS weapons, but it can be very useful for a back bar defensive weapon where you have your defensive skills like buffs and heals.0 -

It's possible, yes, but I was trying to keep the explanation simple and easy to play. Bash builds tend to be extremely APM intensive, properly weaving bash + LA + ability all the time to achieve that level of damage.0 -

but realistically any character running a mag build does better with fire staff because of the burning status effect proc, especially from wall of elements (which itself does even more dmg against burning enemies)plays PC/NA

✭DK fits fine for one bar as you have plenty of class skill options for AOE's and can still do great single target damage with your weapon.

I’ve seen really effective bash builds, but the drawback seems to be you get to spam one button, a lot. Kind of like werewolves spamming howl…

Not necessarily, my NB bash build is quite tactical as you can run out of resources quickly if you combo LA-Power Slam- Bash over and over. But even so, coming out of stealth with a Deadlands Demolisher and the above combo is lethal even to very skilled players.0 -
