the difference between perfected and non-perfected is pretty minimal, if you have non-perfected then that should still work

vrols is just, well not great, since the only real benefit it gives you is major aegis (10% dmg reduction in dungeon/trial/arena), and it wont even have 100% uptime until you get a few stacks of extended favor

i dont actually know either if the slayer/aegis buffs actually work in archive, they work in dungeon/trial/arena and dont work in overland for example, and as far as i know archive is not classed as a dungeon, trial, or arena at least in regards to endeavors, so i dont know if it has been confirmed or not if those bonuses actually work in the archive

the only difference between perfected and non-perfected pearl is like 1200 max hp, which while useful, is not going to be like a make or break difference if you only have non-perfected available

It does from what ive experienced. Atleast it was listed as a buff on my character screen as of last week.

well the slayer/aegis buffs are listed on your character sheet regardless of where you are, even in pvp

but since its supposed to only apply to dungeon/trial/arena monsters i dont know how it works in the archive since i know they dont work on overland enemies

kind of like empower only works on your monsters, and can still show in your character sheet even while attacking players in pvp, just because the buff is showing does not mean its actually applying to your target

Is it ok to use unleashed greatsword instead of daggers?
The short answer is no. At the end of the day you can run anything you want or that you have available, but if you had everything and you want my advicxe, the point of running Lightning staff / dual wield is:

    (a) To have a weapon with which you can restore magicka (lightning staff)

    (b) To have a weapon that supports both poison and fire enchants. Enchants have the highest status effect proc chance (20%). This is buffed by the Charged Trait and plays into the Focused Efforts vision. You do have to get lucky, but when you do, the build has Burning, Poisoned and Hemorraghing. I know Reflective Light also plays into that, but enchants have by far the highest status effect proc chance. 2H only supports 1 enchant. Ergo, dual-wield is better. Quick Cloak is also really nice, because you carry it with you, it gives you speed, and it gives you the AOE damage reduction. The combination of Explosive Charge and Quick Cloak is arguably better than running Stampede and having to bash, which you would do on a 2H build to keep proccing Unleashed and the enchant.
And why not use Pale Order Ring on Templar?
    (a) Templar is the one class that generally does not need it. You already heal from damage. Adding Pale Order to a magplar feels quite "meh" compared to classes that have no healing from damage to begin with.

    (b) Pale Order does not protect you from burst. The Greaves do, or Gaze of Sithis for that matter, albeit the latter remove your block mitigation.
Do you know good armor sets for Warden in EA?

@subarctic If you are looking for a solid trial damage set that is easy to get in perfected, I'd go for Ansuul's out of VSE. The skinnycheeks setup is for single target, so naturally Relequen is going to top that list. But the drop-off between Relequen and his AOE sets is minimal, and in some cases, the "AOE sets" will be better as they are easier to use than Relequen. Ansuul's is a "set it and forget it" set, with constant damage that can be increased with an interrupt, no need to watch stacks or play the resources game. Plus, with Mag DK, you are using a fair amount of AOE skills even in single target fights.

Vrol's is a tank set, wouldn't help much. If you want a set for resistance, survivability, and damage in EA, I'd go with Leeching Plate.
