Endless bugs!

- Losing threads in various spots line of sighting.
- Adds getting stuck in walls and stairs. Nothing you can do but close app. Log back in and lose a thread...
- Tho'rat blobs getting stuck. Unable to interrupt. Lose a thread....
- Some weird bug on a boss. I became froze. Unable to use any skills. Had to force close app. Logged back in. Lost a thread. 230k score didn't register even after using the hourglass to end the run. Waited over an hour. Still no score on the leaderboard...
- Crashed. Grey screen. With an error message. Just as I finished a boss. Logged back in. Lost my rewards and permanent buff I could of had.

Any idea how sweaty it is. And how long it takes to get up that high arc stage 😡

Don't get me started on the ridiculous amount of damage taken from mauraders. Why is the damage so high? Especially on solo!
Conduits spamming negate one after the other is absolutely mental!

Tired of writing tickets and posts for nothing to happen!
Tired of spending all those hours progressing for it to be taken away and/or made much more difficult than it already is.

Using the hourglass feels like an unintentional trap to me. Hitting it resets your run but does not post scores, even though it obviously concludes your progress and prevents you from continuing to increase your score for that run. In fact, using it prevents your score from being recorded for that run, in my experience, since it erases that run entirely and deprives you of the opportunity to record your score before you start another one. Honestly I don’t see the purpose of it at all, since there are other ways to end your run and still get credit for it.

The only ways to record your score are to lose all your threads in combat or cut them with the Snippy Snips thing opposite the hourglass. Both of those things also reset the run.

This is apparently by design, for some reason.

To me this is as if they’d made it so only equipping or manually binding an item added it to collections but destroying, deconning, selling, fencing, or researching it did not. If we’re going to have our progress stopped, the score needs to register when it does, no matter how that happens.

you can most of the time kill enemies stuck in the floor with scorching support (if you have it), saved me numerous times (for the random few times that ive had enemies stuck)

there was only 1 instance i had where an enemy got stuck and i didnt have scorching to kill it and needed to reset

as noted, the hourglass has never registered score, it is purely to reset the instance

the one time i had a tho'at blob get stuck, it was never actually able to hit me with its channel from where it was so i just ignored it

marauders always have hit hard, the only one that needs some tuning is gothmau because of that insane bleed it applies with light attacks, but everything in the archive is essentially designed around a 2 player group, if you run solo without a companion, thats just more challenge
    plays PC/NA

    active player since april 2014

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

feel free to stop by and use the facilities

I've had the line of sight bug and the adds going inside the walls bug happen too. I'd like to add to this list an instance of the dragon in Thoat's fight getting frozen, which cost me a thread out of nowhere: the dragon spawned but it wasn't moving and then immediately I lost a thread. Pretty frustrating thing to happen at the end of the arc.

If you want to end the run and haven't died the max times, instead of using hourglass, use the wheel. The wheel is located on the backside of the huge globe.
Fan of playing magblade since 2015. (PC NA)
    Might be joking in comments.

All my previous runs saved that way. Strange it works for some and not others. Wether that's intentional or not.

Edit: it was always with 0 threads remaining. If that plays a factor or not. 🤷‍♂️

Yes, if you lost all your threads in combat your score gets posted. If you have threads remaining (above 0) and use the hourglass, your score does not get posted. I know this from personal experience.

Code verified this in another thread as well.

Okay thanks that makes sense since I’ve always ended when I had no threads remaining. So that said, my 230k that didn’t get posted was a genuine bug
