I have been thinking about this a lot (regarding conversations with NPCs)

You know when you have a lengthy conversation with an NPC, and then you just say Goodbye, and that's it.

Should there had been more options to make it more natural? Or is this how Tamriel operates?

It often happens also with long years 'married' partners...
