This is not a bug but does anyone know a way to change weather without trying to get to another instance? If I'm in the world harvesting and if there is Lightning, I log out because the flashing is annoying on my eyes.

Weather is client-side and random. It could be pouring rain for you, and sunny for someone else. And I don’t know if traveling to a player in another instance of the same zone would trigger a weather change.

the only thing i could think of is reducing graphics settings, as it will render less and less of those weather effects, though it will not entirely get rid of them

Sooo many games abuse bloom. I literally turn it off in every single game that allows me to. And if it’s not in the in-game settings, I search for a way to edit the game’s files to turn it off or find a mod. I hate bloom. Lens Flares are annoying as heck, too. God Rays are usually okay, but sometimes have terrible interactions with fog. Sometimes games over-do it with the fog, too. (Looking at you, ESO.)

    Thank goodness for ReShade, etc.
