Enchanting Experience at Rank 28

Asking for a favor from all Enchanters who are about to reach lvl28 in Enchanting...

Check the needed Experience for 27>28>29
I got a nice Little bug where i needed about ~290.000 exp to get to lvl29 from 28!
That is more than lvl50 requirement from other crafts... on lvl29 it fell down to ~70k? (out of my head so not 100% sure on it, was way lower anyways).

And no, it wont credit you with additional Ranks in Enchanting when you finish the lvl, it just starts at 0 experience for Rank 29 ...

Probably a few and/or all other Enchanters get the same bug, so you are "wasting" about 4 Levels of enchanting .

Best Thing about it was Customer Service answers, they cannot/dont want to help at all.
So just all who Encounter it /bug it ingame

Its a known bug. Reporting it in game is about all you can do about it.

So a known bug since when`? Beta? and noone took those 5minutes to Change a number in the Code? aka the needed experience?

You skip level 27 and half of the level 28 in enchanting completely, so the craft does not take more to master. It is just a visual bug.

What I mean is: as soon as you lvl26 in enchanting is complete you jump to lvl28.5 immediately. The remaining xp to the lvl29 is the sum of a full lvl27+lvl28. This transition is very easy to miss if you are not expecting it.

If I recall, there is an Enchanting-specific skill up book in Cold Harbour. For other enchanters out there, save this book for the "hell" level. Also as Beryl said, you skipped level 27.

Edit: When Level 28 is skipped via enchanting book, you will skip over level 29 and reach level 30 due to the excess IP.
