Stamplar Oakensoul with 5-1-2-3 (or 2-1) build feasible?

As I was waiting for a WB to spawn, was thinking if instead of the usual 5-5-1-1 builds for Oakensoul Stamplar, if 5-1-2-3 (or 5-1-2-2-1) would work.
5 Set piece maybe Pillars of Nirn or Deadly.
1 Oakensoul
2 either Maelstrom 2h (stampede) or BRP DW daggers (cloak)
3 either Agility set OR 2 Monster mask/shoulder + Trainee (if someone knows 1 set piece item that is not monster set let me know).

Especially the 2h maelstrom Stampede bonus on a stamplar is trumping almost every other 5 set bonus in game.

For bar 2h (with Maelstrom)
Power of the Light, Stampede, Jabs, Reverse Slice/Radiant destruction (either morph)-for execution and Dawnbreaker ultimate.
5th skill could be anything depending content or race. Solar Barrage, any type of shield, rune or a heal, Templars have plenty of options.

For bar DW (with BRP weapons)
Power of the Light, Cloak, Jabs, Radiant destruction (either morph) and Dawnbreaker.
Again 5th skill could be anything depending the content.

Any thoughts?

You say WB, so I assume for PvE.

Yes, it's possible. But you need to be aware that trainee pieces offer no significant increase of power.
Maybe Agility pieces would be better?
And I would never ever run "Power of the wet noodle" until they fix it to be usable again.

You should use only AoE abilities on your Oakensoul Stamplar. TwoHand is the best option as well, because of the splash of the light attacks.
Razor Caltrops or Deadly Cloak and Solar Barrage would be my top picks.

Did a lot searching tbh with plenty of options.

Agility gives total 372 WP. 166 from STA + 206 flat WP.

Domihaus gives 404 WP + damage on 10m double damage AOE is a good option with uptime 2/3 of the time (104WP is from the Stamina bonus)

Molag Kena could have been great as can have 100% uptime for whooping 689 WP but Templar has serious stamina management issues adding 8% extra consumption would require quite a few HA in the rotation.

we have been doing 1x 5piece set in pvp for quite a while. its mainly to use markyn's but it has other uses as well. so yeah, absolutely nothing wrong it, as long as you don't expect it to deal more damage than a regular setup.
the 1x 5piece is there to offer your character the trainee and druids braid, which boosts your health massively, basically to be tankier in pvp without losing much. in pve its meh, but arena weapons + agility or even sets like eagle eye has been at use. good luck
