Appreciation for the Filers

As the title states, I thought I'd get sick of the little quips and voice lines from the various little watchers in the Endless Archive, but the longer I spend in there, more I enjoy them. They're like little cheerleaders standing on the sidelines watching you work and chiming in every so often. It's such a small little thing, but makes me smile.

They are very good touch indeed. I personally like Filer Eru most. He seems so excited. The one also wonder how we see depth without three eyes is also cute.

Yes, some are voiced by the original voice actors, and are very recognizable. Good to see them using the top talent still.

Tho'at Replicanum is also an old school voice, and quite appropriately done.

Agreed! I also really like Filer Kyf. The only one I don’t care for so much is the one with the I-so-don’t care attitude, but then variety is good.

I was thinking about this the other day, I really love their voice acting! Especially the one that vehemently yells: 'Hit them, hiiit them!!!'. It cracks me up so much, because here is this tiny watchling, but they messed up with its filing system, so now it's mad

I also like the line 'Don't touch that book...it l-looks suspicious...'. Their comments are indeed a lovely break in the monotone of the fighting and they are delivered in such a great way, I'm never tired to hear them

Filer Eru is quite violence loving. I nearly lost a thread to some mobs from laughing at some of his well-timed lines of encouragement.

Filer Jun is great! She has an air of academic snobbery and I love it. Her delivery really sells the lines, I wanted to copy some of my favorites here but they are much less funny when read. I particularly love the lines about "temporal elasticity" and "paleonymic fragments".

I don't know who voiced Tho'at, but I really like the work done. Kinda reminds me of Savathun from Destiny (which is a good thing.)

It's Debra Wilson, the same person who did Velsa for the Thieves Guild.
