missing Roll_Dice.dds

hello, i'm not sure what addon is conflicting with the /roll function, but I get this error when trying to do so and I need help tracking down what is the cause. It appears the addon is trying to pull the function and is missing the artwork. With addons turned off, it shows a picture of the dice and gives the number, with addons enabled I get this:

xrp7hpl5ay5f.jpg

any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Without knowing your addons it's hard to help, sorry. And even with them known it's hard to find out if noone "by coincidence saw the same error message".
Do you use any Roleplay addons that explicitly say they change or add slash commands like /roll?
Check those addons then first adn disable them to test!

    I'd do the following:
Disable half of your addons from top and then checka gain. Error exists: One of these addons is the reason. Disable half of this half again and reapeat until you find the addon causing this.

Same for the other lower half. With addons I ONLY mean the addons, not the libraries at the bottom of your addon manager! They can be needed for the addons enabled at the top so keep them enabled, at least the needed ones.
I recommand "Votans Addon List" to be used as it will automatically enable the dependencies (libraries, other addons) for your addon that you enable at the top!

Or use a tool like Notepad++ (free: ) or windows seach and seach your live/AddOns folder for that filename mentioned:
    roll-dice.dds or roll_dice
If you find it in any addon's lua or xml file you might have found the addon causing this!

Sorry to be (very) late to this discussion, but I've experienced the same problem and narrowed it down to the addon pChat. Anyone know if there is a fix for this?

    Greetings,

After further review we have decided to move this thread to a category we think is more appropriate for this topic, as it's addon related.

    Thank you for your understanding

I'm currently maintaining pChat and do not have such an issue with the addons I know that can show text to chat, also dice rolles (FCO GuildLottery e.g.).

    But:
As long as you guys do not tell me what addon is adding that text to the chat, I cannot test and see if I can provide a fix for that in pChat :)

    So, what addon is it?

Well, all I can tell you is that with no addons installed, using the /roll command works normally and there is no roll_dice.dds error. When pChat is installed, and only pChat, using the /roll command will generate the roll_dice.dds error. I don't know what else to tell you.

Okay, so /roll is a default game slash command then? Did not know it existed that's why I thought it's an addon adding it.
I'll have a look how ZOs formats the text there and will make it compatiblw with pChat then, if possible.

    Thanks for the info!
