Y'ffre bound arms pack light flashing :(

the green light effect on the Y'ffre Bound is flashing a bit too fast and it kinda hurts to look at.

it's not super fast but it's definitely noticeable.
which is sad.

i really wish the green light was just static like with most other arms pack weapons.

the little orbs of light are fun and the colour the glow isn't necessarily bad, just the fact that it's flashing too much.

zos, is it a bug or is this intended?
because if it's intended that's pretty weird to do after feedback people have given about the arcanist skills that have flashing bright green.
and the Prior Thierric arms pack that was released two years ago that has the light flash when unsheathing weapons from the pack.

still no toggles for those effects nor for this new one.

I love the visual effects tbh. honestly they are like the buyoyant armiger ones from the crown crates , but theres a flash every 1 second yes. Too fast

Do you have bloom off ingame?

I can understand some people having issues with it but there's many other arms packs out there for every taste. You would probably like Spawn of mephala more and it fits the arcanist style.

Some things do hurt my eyes in game, so i understand.

I do think having extra options in game for disabling arms pack visuals effects, having them perma active when weapon is sheated/not in combat mode would be great. (like grim focus now, Alkosh set) - ( also disabling other ppl pets, companions, skill visual effects , reducing skills visuals effects)

That being said. Flashy sells. the more flashy the more money. Mounts, arms packs also. A good balance is always great though.

flashing lights hurt and can trigger migraines.
so that's not exactly good.

no i wouldn't like spawn of mephala more, that's why i didn't buy it when it was available.
and it's not spawn of Mora so wouldn't actually fit an arcanist(not that i was even looking for that anyways).

i was looking forward to the Y'ffre-bound weapons because it's a bosmeri weapon style and green.
didn't expect the flashing effect.

After checking in game... i finaly understand what you meant. the weapons flash every 1 sec.
The flash itself doesn't seem that strong .... but it should be alot slower or removed tbh

also swords need more sparkles. the other weapons like bow have lots of them. The small green lights ya know?

oh mephala fits cuz it's green lights on the weapon hahah, i don't overthink names. if it looks cool and is green glow i'll take it haha

I would like to have flashing effect when they are on the waist. And I would like to have VFX green smoke and particles without flashes when I draw them.
Also, I agree it's too fast. It definitely needs to be slowed down.
Glowing increases from 0% glowing to 100% glowing in 3 seconds would be cool.
Then stay 100% glowing for 2 seconds.
Then decrease from 100% to 0% glowing in 3 seconds.
Then stay 0% glowing for 3 seconds.

Not surprising it's another probe light. ZOS seems to be determined lately to cause migraines and eye pain for people. Everything needs to be as flashy and extreme as possible, can't do with a more subtle effect.

I actually think they look good without any glow or flash at all…just the plain metal design is great.

I'm not a fan of rapidly flashing or intrusive visuals in general, and it's a pity so many of the items we've been getting like recall actions, weapon effects, certain mounts (as well as the animations on the arcanist class), etc., have been having increasingly loud visuals. They are too tiring on the eyes, and some of them can be startling (if for eg., someone summons the welwa mount at the same spot as your own character, it can suddenly fill up your whole screen). On another note, I wish the vendor was sold separately from the weapons.

Fast strong lights Hurt me visually. They are just fast out of nowhere it's like it slashes my eyes.

However This arms pack don't do that tbh. Because the flash is nothing special (though it should be slowed) and the glow is permanent. there's no coming out of nowhere for me.

Same applies to arcanist class. it doesn't bother me. Tho it might one day. And when that day comes i'll play some other class.

Out of all the arms packs for me the strongest was pierric thierric? arms packs weapon swap, that huge light explosion out of nowhere... wow...

But truth is arms packs are something that is a player choice out of thousands of weapon styles this game has. It's a player choice.

What isn't a player choice however is the exploding light from mounts. There's a red glowing one the other day, it exploded near me and i'm not even joking i had to close my eyes for a few seconds.
