Resist cap in EA

Normally in PvE the resist cap is 33.5k (unless I'm mistake there, correct me if I am) *but* I know that the pen cap (usually 18.2k, and I am sure of that one) doesn't apply to cycle 3 and 4 bosses, where it goes up to 27.3 and 36.4 respectively; does a similar thing apply to armor in EA - can/should I build for more than 33.5k armor in the later arcs?

The resistance cap is 33,000 for players, representing 50% of a theoretical 100% damage mitigation from armor (which would be reached at 66,000, since we are effectively level 66 at CP 160+).

Mobs have resistance out of a theoretical total of 50,000. This is verifiable by calculating the damage difference due to penetration before reaching cap.

On the PTS it was reported that some bosses had armor with the figures you gave, but see here:

as far as im aware all of the trash mobs have 9100 armor and tho'ats have 18200

the mob health ramps up significantly though, but they dont really have more armor

got to arc 9 last night and the trash mobs had almost 1.8 mil hp
