I really enjoy the fishing in eso, my only gripe with it is the node system. Just let us fish in any body of water. Not sure if anyone else feels this way but it kinda break the immersion of the game a bit for me .
With nodes it's easy to limit how.much you can gather and at what pace, as well as easily differentiate different locations. If every pool of water was fishable, they'd have to add location tags to the entire map specifying what was lake, pond, or foul. It's not really feasable.
Maybe a perpetual fishing-memento could be a solution. This way we could "fish" everywhere to enjoy the various landscape while leaving the minigame itself untouched.
Never get between a cat and it's candy!

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.

Yeah i think that'd do the trick as well. good thought
