Transmute Crystals Refund Not Always Worth It

I've gotten all the Trasnmute Crystals I can hold, so I tried to make Triune jewlry to extract the material to make room and make a profit. However, I instead I keep getting refunded all my Transmute Crystals. That's a good change for when you make a mistake transmuting, but now there seems to be no worthwhile way to make room for more Transmute Stones.

Transmute yourself nirnhoned weapons and deconstruct them for a chance for crux. You still get your transmutes back tho. That's intended and shouldn't be changed imo.

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 24 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. It's not that hard.

HHHHAAAAAAA, I used excess stones to make Triune fragments. There should be a time limit. Like after an hour you don't get the full Transmute Crystal rufund, but you get the chance for the trait material to drop.

    I disagree.

The whole purpose of the transmutation system is to finally bring an end to the endless grind of farming gear. The system works just fine as it is.

The only way I know to efficiently store over 1000 Transmutation Crystals is to store gold Transmutation Geodes. They each have 50 transmute stones inside.

You get these once a month per character from earning 25,000 AP from your home Cyrodiil campaign. It takes about 45-90 mins to earn that much for a player who isn't a pvp expert, just by using meatbag catapults at keep sieges and going after resources.

I have 26 Geodes saved this way, which is 1300 transmute crystals to open later, on top of the 1000 we can save normally.

(Remember, you only need Tier 1, which is 25k AP, and it doesn't matter if your faction wins or not. As long as it's a 30-day campaign and you set it as your home.)

    This.

If you are reconstructing, you are just converting stones into a set piece that you can then store in a bank or chest.

If you are transmuting, you can decon and the stones are lost with a chance at some mats returned.
