Per-character favorite mounts

I like the favorite mounts to randomize, it's a really cool idea. Could you please also incluse a "per character" favorite mount selection? Certain characters have themes, so having a randomized mount that fits that theme would be sweet.

+1 for having the option to set character-based favourites (while leaving the account-wide option available for those who prefer that).

All my characters are unique and having to wade through everything to select cosmetics is a needless slog.

Since they finally chose to implement a favourites option, why not do it properly? Well, it's not too late, can presumably still be done in a future update.

Yes, that's how I wanted it to be. As it is now, it's of no use to me at all.

I love it the way it is, but that is because my characters are identical except for class. My elf moves among what others call 'characters' as casually as she changes costumes or hairstyles. That said, I realize I'm in the minority and many would prefer having faves linked to characters. That's fine as long as the account wide way remains an option as mentioned above by @ComradeBiscuit .

I agree, and said the same thing when favourites were first added to the game. Like other people in this thread my characters all use different things so shared favourites are completely useless to me, it might push a few items I never use to the bottom of the list, but it doesn't really make the ones each character uses easier to find.

If you're on PC you can use IsJusta Favorite Collectibles to have per-character favourites. It's the main reason I kept using the addon after favourites (it's original function) was added to the base game. But it's annoying that this function was almost added to the game itself then narrowly missed out.

(I also still use Random Mount so I have a seperate random list to my favourites list.)

I’m glad for the account favorites as I add things that many of my characters use — accept the mounts as I use the random favorite mount for one character only. But favorites for each character would be even better!

I don't use it at all because it isn't per-character. All of my characters are (game lore compliant) RP-based, and have very specific stories and themes. They're incredibly distinct from each other. Having an account-wide random favorite list used for mount summons renders the random mount system useless for me.

Similar boat here, though I wouldn't use the random mount option even if it was character-based, because I change mounts depending on region (e.g. camel in the desert, guar in Black Marsh). Still, I think it should be improved to be character-based if preferred, not removed, for those who do wish to use it.

That's a really cool idea. I like to coordinate my characters' outfits with their mounts and pets, and some of them have specific themes, like Deadlands etc., so they use certain mounts and pets, and the ability to easily find and rotate between those would be great!

I'm sure they will offer the ability to "buy" additional favorite blocks for each character...1500 crowns.

Same, but using an Addon for that purpose, you might wanna check out Quick Fashion.
Can save/load different "presets" of collectibles for a character and you can even load specific presets for different zones.

I really wish zos would put a bit more effort in new features, pretty sure its not that hard to save them per character (or add a toggle in the options to save per char or global)
or think about that system/idea for like 10 seconds how it would "feel" on a account with maxed out character slots before implementing it.

I would like this to be per character too. I have one who likes foxes, another wolves, another indriks and so on. But have to manually change all but one set.

If they modify it to switch between character and account favourites, then yes otherwise no thank you. I can't figure out what I own anymore and still have to go through it character by character a million times...
